NTA will be releasing the syllabus of Maths for JEE Mains 2025 soon. Once out, candidates can check the updated syllabus at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Two chapters namely Mathematical Induction and Mathematical reasoning have been removed last year from the JEE Mains syllabus of Mathematics. The present syllabus consists of 14 units containing 5-10 topics each. The new and reduced syllabus is similar to NCERT’s reduced syllabus for classes 11 and 12.
This article consists of a detailed breakdown of the JEE Mains 2025 Maths syllabus, to help candidates figure out the chapters that are relevant to their preparation, and the chapters which can be excluded if the time falls short. However, in case you do have time in hand it is always best to cover the entire syllabus since it increases the chances of scoring a high percentile.
