- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

- All interest and fields do get opportunity and you can explore your interest and can go in any field which you like
- Infrastructure and facilities of the college are far better than expectations
- Very beautiful place and fine weather it is always refreshing and heartwarming
Dislikes
- There is a culture of calling your senior sir mam
- quite hectic schedule which do become very hard to handle
- Classes are mostly not useful in studies professor just do formalities and you have to prepare for exam by yourself

Since being a prominent IIT and a prominent college of India it has a high package in every branch and after the course is completed students is opened to various sections and interest and fields in which he / she can continue like job / PhD/ mtech from the same college

- People are nice and so helpful but self involved
- Apart from the mess hostel is overall good

- Mess food is not good, it need improvement
- Mostly the courses are theoretical, it can be more practical
- Grading process should be more lenient and students friendly

Placement Experience:
After 6th semester companies start to come for placements. More than thousand placement offers are made every year. Around 90% of students easily get placed. Average package is around twenty lakhs per annum. Highest can go in crores. And lowest is around five lakhs per annum.

- Good washing facility. There are guest houses for parents to stay. In hostels we have gyms, dance room, study room with computers.
- many clubs are there. From technology to literature we have so much to explore.
Dislikes
- Girls to boys ratio is 21:79. Gives very less time for particular topic or course completion.
- Lack of competent researchers. Lack of undergraduate research opportunity.
- Very limited accommodation is available in IIT Roorkee guest houses for the parents.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The frequency and timing of exam is good i guess. The semester completes before winter vacation and summer vacation. As i told courses like soft skills, tinkering and mentoring plays very important role in other aspects.
Where they can improve is on practical applications of things. When i heard that in first sem, we are going to gave engineering mechanics subject. I was very excited. I thought i will get to learn interesting things.

- Each and every faculty is experienced and has mastered in his/her field, there way of teaching is very unique and creative (using live demos and ppts)
- Coding culture and entrepreneurial culture of the college is top notch
- Placements and Internships are well taken care by the student bodies itself, helping out maximum possible placements done.
Dislikes
- A lot of politics involvement in the college students themselves
- Sometimes the courses are not relevant and includes very hard courses to understand
- Location of the college is also not that great, roorkee itself is a small city and does not include every facility
Placement Experience:
We have a placement and internship cell in the college which is managed by the students itself and Annual placment and internship session in conducted which helps each student to get a good placement coordination.

The currciulum is relevant to the course i have selected. You not only get to learn the core concepts but also focuses on the overall devlopment of students in general.you get to learn the core concepts in great depths

From 6 semester students are eligible for placements . Many companies comes here for recruitment likes of Amazon , JP Morgan's , ICICI Bank , Adobe and many more . Highest package: In 2024, the highest package offered was INR 2.05 crore per annum. Placement offers: In 2024, the majority of offers were for Software Development Engineer (SDE) positions. Top recruiting sectors: In 2023, the top recruiting sector was IT and Analytics.
The highest and average package offered during IIT Roorkee MBA placements 2024 stood at INR 26 LPA and INR 18 LPA, respectively. Moreover, the placement rate recorded during IIT Roorkee MBA placements 2024 was 100%. Apart from this, the median package offered during IIT Roorkee MBA placements 2024 stood at INR 18.5 LPA. In addition, Operations, IT & Analytics emerged as the top recruiting sector during IIT Roorkee MBA placements 2024.According to media reports, 23 international and in total 802 offers were grabbed during IIT Roorkee 2024 phase-1 placements. Databricks offered a salary package of INR 2.05 crore per annum to a student during the first phase of IIT Roorkee placements 2023-24.Further, a total of 172 companies visited the campus during IIT Roorkee placements 2024.In addition, as per unofficial sources, the highest domestic and average package during IIT Roorkee placements 2024 stood at INR 150 LPA and INR 20 LPA, respectively. - The girls to boys ratio is 1:4 which is quite good.
- Campus is very beautiful and also it is very green.
- All the fests are organized really very good.
Dislikes
- There are not too good options for shopping if you go outside campus.
- Some hostels need to be renovated as they have become old.
- Branch change option is after a semester rather than a year.
Placement Experience:
On-campus placements start in the 7th semester for a 4-year program. All kinds of companies visit from Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, and Amazon to some international companies too.
The highest package has gone to more than 1 crore through some companies coming to the average package is around 19-20 LPA.
Overall around 85-90% of students get placed in their placement season.
I have though of doing a job for 1-2 years and then pursue for higher studies.

- I liked the placement ratio in my college is very good and most of the students of my branch are getting salary higher than the average salary of the institute
- I liked the support from the alumni of my college thay are supporting the College financially and also doing workshops for the benefit of the students
- I liked the sports facilities in my college as I have seen many college are not indulged in any of such sports facilities which oye College is providing
Dislikes
- I dislikeed the hostel of our college they are very old didn't have air conditioners and the washroom are dirty and at night insects comes into our rooms grasshopper mosquito lizards are very common
- The quality of mess food is very poor and food is tasteless even mosquitoes were found in the food many times
- The boy and girl ratio in our college is almost 4:1 ie 1 girl is among each 4 boys which is very poor

The placement of my college is very good the average placement is very high and students get ofdes from the company in crores and I hope my placement package might be in lakhs and crores.Our college is best in terms of placement

- Campus is very safe and one can roam around at any time.
- Campus Fests are extravagant and very memorable with a lot of events going on.
- Academics are moderate and easily one can get a good score if someone studies just a week before exams.
Dislikes
- Most of the people are working in IT domain so variety of branches are just redundant
- Library is not 24x7 which makes it difficult for girls and boys to study after midnight.
- Courses are old fashioned and generally it doesn’t inculcate an interest.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course is old fashioned and have topics and things which are mostly obsolete. The relevant stuff is taught in master's programme. Though in our times, professors were flexible for attendance criteria.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
