- I liked the placement ratio in my college is very good and most of the students of my branch are getting salary higher than the average salary of the institute
- I liked the support from the alumni of my college thay are supporting the College financially and also doing workshops for the benefit of the students

- I dislikeed the hostel of our college they are very old didn't have air conditioners and the washroom are dirty and at night insects comes into our rooms grasshopper mosquito lizards are very common
- The quality of mess food is very poor and food is tasteless even mosquitoes were found in the food many times
Placement Experience:
The placement of my college is very good the average placement is very high and students get ofdes from the company in crores and I hope my placement package might be in lakhs and crores.Our college is best in terms of placement

- Campus is very safe and one can roam around at any time.
- Campus Fests are extravagant and very memorable with a lot of events going on.
Dislikes
- Most of the people are working in IT domain so variety of branches are just redundant
- Library is not 24x7 which makes it difficult for girls and boys to study after midnight.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course is old fashioned and have topics and things which are mostly obsolete. The relevant stuff is taught in master's programme. Though in our times, professors were flexible for attendance criteria.

- I liked the infrastructure of the campus
- I liked the faculty over here it is awesome
Dislikes
- I didn't liked the city life over here campus life is good but City Life is poor
- I didn't liked the hostel rooms as they are too small and dirty a little bit
Placement Experience:
As it is an IIT the placements over here are awesome but in recent two years they have fallen down due to recession but you can also try for off campus as IIT degree has its own value that is privileged and priceless

- I like the campus vibes,lush green campus and pollution free environment
- I like senior, junior interaction, seniors are very supportive

- I don't like attendance policy there, traditional ways of teaching is still there
- Students are running behind branch change
Placement Experience:
Placement statistics are very good. Many of our senior are getting pre placement offers and overall placement are top notch If in case I am not getting placement I will try to get into buisness field and will be starting a new Buisness

- Hostel vibes are great friends are good , no night time restriction inside hostels
- Canteens are there 24 hrs can eat anything you want
Dislikes
- There are some restrictions regarding playing football in the lawn

Placements are great , however they vary bramchwise. This year Roorkee observed a small dip die to recession and everyone were not placed on campus . However many got placed off campus and received some great packages too

- I like the sports campus of our college. It is very well maintained.
- Course infrastructure of our college is good . They include all the courses that insure full character development and knowledge development.
Placement Experience:
The college provide internship in second last year and placement in last year. There is lots campony come for placement. They provide packages from 10 lpa to couple of crore per annum. After degree I am going for job through the college

- Like it's an IIT the boys girls ratio is 80:20 and infrastructure is too good and a healthy environment is there
- Considering the engagement we have ample of opportunities to engage in any field whether it is sports, cultural thing, all types of facilities are available here.
Dislikes
- As such there is nothing to dislike about it because considering the freedom it's full, and there is no restriction and eventually placement is too too hood here as well as internship
Placement Experience:
Placement is something that is most appealing part here. You are eligible for placement in your final year first semester, and almost 500-600 companies visit every year and placement ratio is almost 95% but in 2024 due to recession this number is very less but the trend is as it is. Companies like Google, Microsoft, BNY Mellon, BCG, Data Bricks visit here.

- The infrastructure, the quality education and the facilities provided to each and every student including internet speed and many more.
- A lot of cool, very helpful and great minds around in the hostel and seniors. The environment is always competitive but motivating and helping.
Dislikes
- The mess food disappoints in taste and some common problems which can occur everywhere.
- Some academics issues like some courses which doesn't even relate to the field are also included in the curriculum.
Placement Experience:
Placement opportunities are quite good in the campus , companies visit campus twice one in the end of the first semester and second in the month of march. Most of the students get placed in the campus and those who not have a chance to apply for offcampus. I am also looking for the placement in the campus as well and trying to be placed in a decent company with decent job profile.
Likes
- Campus is very beautiful and lush green . Newly built hostels are great and old hostels are liveable.
- Seniors are helpful and there is no ragging in college.
Dislikes
- Mess food can be not eatable sometimes .
Placement Experience:
Since its an IIT , placements are generally good . CSE have an average of more than 30 lpa with multiple companies like Microsoft, Google , Adobe , Meta visiting.Other branches like chemical , civil , mechanical also have average package of more than 15 lpa.Overall Average package is 17 lpa.
Likes
- There are many clubs in IITR where you can pursue you passion and learn many things from seniors.
Dislikes
- Boy Hostel at IIT ROORKEE are in poor condition. You are alloted triple and double rooms for first 2 years. Also Mess food is not so good.
- There is strict attendance policy, so you to attend at least 70-75% classes. Otherwise you are not allowed to sit in exams.
Placement Experience:
All good companies visit the campus for placement and placements are good in even reccesion time. In placement season 2023 900+ offers are made. Placements start in your final year. Avg package varies branch to branch but you can it around 20-25lpa. Highest package are in crores. Almost 85-90% students are placed during placement season.
