Likes
- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

- I loved the culture between seniors and junior interaction. Also the professors

In the third semester itself the students are eligible for internships and at the beginning of 4 year they apply this it for placements the placement committee circulates emails to the student for the different companies and their criteria and then the students can choose the companies write their test and sit for internship and placements

Likes
- The campus here is the best thing. It’s amazing no matter how old it is. Its Green all over and fully maintained.
- The Great Thomson Building which is the pride of our IIT Roorkee looks heavenly all the time and mostly in rain
- There is a separate course assigned to students called Tinkering and Mentoring which is allowing students to learn and innovate no matter how much mistakes you make you will succeed and learn
Dislikes
- The management here in every event is bad. There are not enough people doing there job during events

Placement Experience:
Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc
Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore.
Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure.
My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

- The beauty of the campus is commendable.
- The sports facility existing in the campus is great. You wish to play a sport, you will get the facilities here.
- Enormous number of clubs in the campus give great exposure.
Dislikes
- Temperature variation is insane. It rains one minute and the next minute you have eye-piercing sunlight.
Placement Experience:
There is a dedicated placement drive that is handled by Placement & Internship Cell organized in final year during the first semester. There are provisions for students wishing to persue further studies.

- Campus is very beautiful. Its iit roorkee so peers are super smart and innovative. There are multiple societies so you can follow your passion.
- Quality of teachers is very good . They are very intelligent and have a lot experience in teaching field.
- Sports facilities are very good. There is gym and swimming pool too
Dislikes
- It's location in Roorkee town of haridwar so it's far from metropolitan areas
- Those who don't like rainy days , may feel a little bad here in monsoon.
- Hustle culture sometimes makes you feel bad .
Placement Experience:
Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. If someone don't get on campus then cell helps in getting off campus placement. Enormous amd strong alumini network helps in getting off campus placement.

Placement of IIT roorkee is actually very good, in first year most of the students had multiple offer for internship and final placement is also very nice as around 25 percent of student gets Pre placement offer.

- gender ratio is 4 boys to 1 girl in campus which ain't much
- there is no boxing training place here in campus
- first year hostel rooms are not very good and not equal treatment for all, random but still

placements are decent as obviously this is an IIT that too top 5 old IIT, roorkee it is
average may be around 20 circuital branches getting the average to the higher side which is kinda obvious keeping in mind market

- There are world class facilities in our college one of them is a tinkering lab where we have motion capture room that coated about 2crores.
- Our campus life is great with a constant stream of events happening and a lot of exposure .
- We have a very great placement and internship cell that helps student in placements and interns.
Dislikes
- I think that there should be free buses inside the campus as it is big so i donot have to pay for e-rickshaws.
- One that i would also like is installation of air conditioners in hostels.
- There should be an option to choose if you like to avail mess or not as the food isn't good and one can eat cheap food in canteens as there are subsidized a lot.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

- The professors are highly educated and well versed with fields and have exciting opportunities for the students
- The placement and internship and opportunities are very good with a very good pay
- The campus culture in all types of technical fields like Web development, Competitive Programming, Product Management, AI/ML is very good
Dislikes
- The hostels are a bit old so students might struggle to adjust
- The mess food is average and it is quite hard to survive on mess food alone
- The campus administration has a somewhat backward mindset like forcing compulsory attendance and not having enough attention on mental health of the students
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements.
Many Companies like Google, Microsoft, Quantbox, Adobe, JP Morgan come to our college and on an average hire 6-8 students per company.
Average packages were around 15 LPA.
More than 80% of the students who applied got placed.

- There is freedom to go anywhere and no academic pressure.
- We are having a good placement percentage and package.
- There are a lot of cultural activities will held here in every month.

- The ratio of boys and girls here is 1:4.
Placement Experience:
Normally for 7 th semester most of the students here will qualify in placements with good packages. There are many international companies like Google , amazon , Schlumberger etc are here to give placements for students.
Me after getting the degree definitely I will go to good company which pays me good salary.

- Yes this collage is provided all the needs of a student for their improvement. There is full facilities in hostel and mess. For mentorship there is wellness centre.
- There are many good quality teachers which always appreciate and motivates to students. Infrastructure of college is very advanced and attractive.
- There is a carrier development cell for the development of students

- The most disliking thing the hectic nature of this collage which is become the cause of stress

I am in my first year so I don't know much about it but as per I listen from my senior is that around 70 to 80 percent students got the placement in civil engineering branch I think thats a very good data as per my expectations

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
