Which is better for studying architecture in India: SPA Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, or IIT Roorkee?

It is better to choose a college with an IIT tag because it will give you security regarding placements. Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee structure for general candidates is 1lack per semester tution fee around 40K residing and mess fee per semester, students also get fee waiver if their parents income is below 5lacks and 1lack, and students also get some scholarships.

Iit roorkee provides scholarships on many bases, 1 is family income, 2 is academic score, 3 is if need be they can apply for it and then write an exam for it, which will have an interview after once those are cleared a scholorship is given. and campus employment opportunities are alot as long as we are maintaining a good grade.

Before Going to the IIT R Architecture and Planning...

The fees of architecture and planning course are 2 lakh per year. Actually all the courses have the same fees. In all iits almost the fees are same which is academically 1,00,000 per semester. There are many scholarships for students like fee waiver scholarship., MCM(merit cum schlorship). For more scholarship, you can visit the site of iit roorkee, there are many scholarships for meritius students. I am in the first year of this course, so I didn't know about this stipend or internship given to the students. But after consulting with seniors, I found that internship is given to the students on the basis of their skills and averagely each student get around 25k per month internship. One of my senior gets a internship of 50K per month. Also, there is no fees for reserved categories like SC, ST meaning that their academic fees is ?0. For OBC candidates, if the annual income of parents is less than 5 lakhs per year, then 2/3rd of the fees forbid meaning their fees remains 33K.

The facilities provided by the institute are nothing in front of the fees they ask for. And there are a lot of scholarships like the James Thomason scholarship which provides 25k per month to students who secured a rank under 300.

A lot of facilities in IIT Rorkee

Fee Structure And Facilities:

I received an MCM scholarship from the MHRD, a SALF award from the Alumni Network, and financial help for the Foreign Exchange program. A lot of other scholarships were also available in this Institution so it was a easy going. I had to pay a fee of the amount of 150000. I was satisfied with course because I had got the scholarship.

IIT Roorkee - You beauty

There are three scholarships offered by the institute for the deserving candidates - Merit scholarship, James Thomason scholarship, SC/ST/PH scholarship and Inspire SHE scheme. Rs. 8.47 lakhs is the entire cost to study B.Arch. here at IIT. This amount is very high for the students who come from weak financial backgrounds. Full tuition fee waiver is provided to the students belonging to the category.

In comparison, to other top-notch colleges of India, the fee of IIT Roorkee is very affordable. The rate of return on investment is very good. The college provides good placement. The college also provides scholarships on a merit basis and scholarship for SC/ST/PWD is also available. There are more than 5+ scholarship schemes through which college provides scholarships.

Training opportunities in Architecture, IIT Roorkee

I joined in 2011, the few were nominal for an institute of its stature. The fee was in parts for - tuition, hostel & boarding, medical, sports and gym. Since then the fee has grown to 2.5 times. I was provided with an MCM scholarship through MHRD, SALF Scholarship through Alumni Network as well I was provided assistance for Foreign Exchange programme. I was part of the college placement team but didn't sit for the placement since I was offered an opportunity in the USA on my own. All internships that I got were paid, though didn't secure them through the college placement office.
