Likes
- Campus is very safe and one can roam around at any time.
- Campus Fests are extravagant and very memorable with a lot of events going on.
- Academics are moderate and easily one can get a good score if someone studies just a week before exams.
Dislikes
- Most of the people are working in IT domain so variety of branches are just redundant
- Library is not 24x7 which makes it difficult for girls and boys to study after midnight.
- Courses are old fashioned and generally it doesn’t inculcate an interest.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is old fashioned and have topics and things which are mostly obsolete. The relevant stuff is taught in master's programme. Though in our times, professors were flexible for attendance criteria.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered by companies like Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Zepto, Wells Fargo, etc. Stipends can go from 10k INR - 3/4 lac INR per month depending upon your branch, skills, CGPA and other factors. Though good students do get 1 lac per month stipends but 3/4 lacs are of those who are extraordinary.

Campus Life
There are a plethora of clubs. One should be a part of atleast 3 clubs in the start as it increase your social life. Also it teaches campus politics. There are various events which are plannes by these clubs throughout the year which provides people to be enagaged in stuff throughout the year. Cultural festivals are also celebrated of all religions and ethnicity, doesn't matter if you are from South or North or East or West.
Hostel Facilities
Food is really good as per mess standards. Few hostels which are newer are good and in some hostels one get single rooms but there is sharing rooms too. Hostels have study room, common room, gym, washing room, barber shop, stationary shop, tailor shop, music room, canteens (night and day).
Admission
I only applied for IIT. But what I have heard from friends of other colleges I came to the conclusion that IITs offer good packages even if you are not really working for placement. I was preparing for UPSC but I sat in the placement process and I got the job of 15 lpa. Packages can go over 1 Cr
Faculty
There are 8 semesters and we have mid term and end term exams in each semesters with practicals and assignments (all have weightage). Most of the students are going for IT domain so they are not interested in their branch which the faculty knows so even they are not much interested to incilcate an interest among students. I had only one professor which was very good.
