Likes

The environment in our college is best there is Greenery everywhere
I was an introvert in my school but when I got into college I've started socializing
Some faculty members are soo good they are genuine and teach us really good

Dislikes

Our infrastructure is very bad like there are no big audis and roads are in very worse condition
The conditions of hostels are okay. On the rainy days our clother get moisture and gets fungus and the washroom are the worsts and the faculty live nearby our hostel so we can not enjoy our hostel life properly
There are no such activities for us to open up and we study all the day and don't even get a break

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to be an engineer when I took maths in my class 11th. The curriculum prepares us well for the real world because there are so much negativity and there is lots of competition which prepares us for the real world.

Class Size: 210Course Fees: INR 171000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements of our college is quite good . From the 4th year the students are eligible for campus placement. If there is no placement offered to me I would do the masters . The percentage of students getting placement is 80%

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees includes the hostel fee So they both cost us 73425 and the mess fee is 18000 . The fees is affordable and the security deposit is 10000 which they return after 4 years of graduation. This course is affordable for us

Campus Life

My campus life is also good . The fest held for 3 days. our college had a fest called spectrum. only some books are available. The conditions of classrooms are okay there are no fans and in the rainy season water comes from the terrace.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility are okay. The conditions of washroom are the not good and the rooms are okay but in the ground floor the rooms and the almirah gets moisture and gets dampness and clothes gets fungus the food is good overall they provide us a very nutritious meal

Hostel Fee: INR 67500 per year

Admission

I've applied for graphic era and lpu but the fees structure of them is quite high and I cannot afford that so I've chooses this college,but the infrastructure of that colleges are quite good because they are expensive and they held lot of activities as compared to my college, also helped my mom in the house work so I didn't qualify for other colleges. My college select children from the basis of jee mains or 12th boards

Faculty

Some of the faculty members are very good they solve our doubts very lineantly . There are 4 exams in a sem 3 internals and 1 external the internals are average but the externals are quite tough many students fail in the externals due to the high level of the question and the examiner who checkes the copy also cut marks

Night Life

The night life is good . There are many books in the library the hostel timings for girls are 6 pm for first year and 6:15 for second year . There is a cool environment to hang out and there is fresh air all around us

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally good for circuital branches but as for lower branches either you have to go in core which is difficult(off campus it is easy , since you have a IIT tag) but non core placements are decents . From 7th semster one become capable for sitting in interviews. Highest package is around 2Cr as for average it ranges between 22-30 lpa Almost 100% students are placed except for those who with thier own startup or try for offcampus placements. My plans are for getting a MBA degree from IIM Ahmedabad or Banglore.
