Course Curriculum Overview
Mostly courses are compulsory, we get chance to chose some courses and they allocate the courses. There are lab based activities which prepares us for industry based applications. It can be more practical.
Internships Opportunities
There are oncampus internship facilities. Companies do come for different roles and hire students. Stipend ranges from fifty thousands to four lakhs per month. There lots of companies like Google, quantbox, Uber, Microsoft, jp morgan and many more.
Placement Experience
After 6th semester companies start to come for placements. More than thousand placement offers are made every year. Around 90% of students easily get placed. Average package is around twenty lakhs per annum. Highest can go in crores. And lowest is around five lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am paying around 81000 per year. Due to reservation quota, I do not have to pay for tution fee. 81000 includes mess and hostel fees. For other students they need to pay extra 200000 for tution fees. I am getting 40,000 scholarship per year.
Campus Life
Overall campus life is good. There are mainly two fest every year one cultural held around October and another cognizance conducted around March. There is huge library and thousands of books. There are lots of students organized clubs to involve in.
Hostel Facilities
We do not have choice to live outside campus, we have to opt for hostel inside campus. Hostel room is nice but the mess food needs improvement. We do have variety of food items but the quality is not so much appreciable.
Admission
This is one of the best engineering colleges and my dream college. There are two jee mains exam and after qualifying mains, we get chance to attempt jee advanced, on the basis of our advanced rank, the IIT 's are allocated
Faculty
Students to faculty ratio is good, and faculties are easily approachable through mail and we can visit their offices. There are two exams per semester and four exams per academic year. Difficulty level depends on particular faculty. Only few students fail to clear, most of students clear the exams. Course curriculum of fine.
Interview Experience
Group discussions topics were artificial intelligence and it's impact. Interview questions mostly based on dsa and competitive programming. Tests are also based on dsa, aptitude mostly. We prepare for these by ourselves.
Night Life
We have gym in every hostel and one central gym as well. There are no timing constraints for anyone, we can go anywhere, anytime. We do avoid to go outside campus in night. In night are canteen areas to hang out.
