Gurukula Kangi Vishwavidyalaya Faculty of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 2000 with a motto of providing technical education in surrounding of gurukula system of education. College is recognized by AICTE. The college provides B.tech courses in computer science & technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Beside teaching college also conducts various extracurricular activities like technical festivals, sports etc. College has state of art infrastructure which includes library, stadium, gym, labs, etc. College also publishes Tri monthly magazine “Nabhag” is published where students got chance to show their talents in language and writing skills. This is no any scholarship oppertunity in this college no very good campus job no financial assistance no infrastructure etc .and many more troubles in this college faculty members are good but not too much friendly
Tech event is to short and boring and a dislike to not to girls clg

Quality of the infrastrute is good and beautiful.
The quality of library is good and all kind of books is available.

Parking area is very small and its too much crowded.

I have given addmission in the basis of jee main, this is a gfti and it's has a hostel and mess . I have taken addmission in 2022 here and will be graduated in 2026 , I have computer science as my branch .

Hard life at gurukula kangri vishvidyaly

Likes

Campus is beautiful, neat and clean. Everything is neat and clean.
Senior are supportive to their juniors in every field.

Dislikes

Campus is far from the hostel. And it is far from the main city.
College not based on co-education. It's only boys college.
Their is very less placement, and college campus is also very small.

Admission:

I have applied for my other colleges, but I didn't get seat there because I had not scored good in jee mains examination. The csab counselling has assigned me this college. I came in this college only to complete my graduation in computer science and engineering

College has big ground to play and also have different games equipment with all courts.

Dislikes

The building should be maintained and make more good looks.
The college should organized more fests and events.

There are some of the private college which i applied but i selected this one because this is govt and also there are many more opportunities providev here. You can get admission through jossa nad csab and cutoff is around 70k for jossa and 300k for csab. Also there is a form for this college you can check that out.

I also applied for NITs and there I got chemical engineering but I wanted to go for CSE that's the main reason I waited for it and then got admission in this college. You can get admission in this college through JOSAA and CSAB and they also have diploma courses so you can get through them also

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

Likes

The college had a criteria of 75% attendance but it was not respected after 2nd year.
Being near the banks of Ganges, the weather was lovely most of the year.

Dislikes

College being situated far away from the main University, had to commute.

Admission:

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University. The admission process was fairly simple, 75k were deposited during the JOSAA councilling and documents like 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet, Medical Certificate etc. were required to submit during the admission process.

Gkv is among the top universities in india in my opinion is far better than other colleges

Firstly I go nearby college by my House but the course is not there which I want to do then I go like omt several other colleges the course is not there then my friend told me about gurukul college and il go the college is so good there fee structure pr laboratory is so clean and teachers are so good about their teaching like so I think this is best college for me

Likes

The campus area of the college is good.
In college the facilities and faculty are good enough.

Dislikes

And the function are conducted is not interested to much.
There is no girl in the campus because it is boys college.
The boys and girls ratio is 100:000 .

I am form rajasthan, and I want explore other states that why I chose the college of hardiwar Because haridwar place is too good for study purpose or trip purpose so and I got less mark in compitative exam.

All the books in fpt campus are available in library which is easily accessible for all students this thing I like a lot in college.

Dislikes

In this college there are no girls this is only boys college and we get for this
Infrastructure of college is not to good Grounds are to small building is not well maintained in f e t campus no volleyball court no badminton court.
Canteen of college is also not to good not hygienic too much dirty it is and washrooms of college are really bad.

Admission:

I choose this college because I was not having another other option except private colleges and the fees of this college is comparative Low as compared to private colleges. In comparison to other colleges it is not too good college because of its curriculum infrastructure and not having clubs sports fertilities. The admission process of student in this college is very simple I got admission in this college through CSAB. After getting seat allotment in C Tab you will get email and the time when you have to report in college within time you have to report in college and submit all the documents and within one or two days you will be allotted hostel and you will continue class as told by Faculty of this college. You can get admission in this college at very low rank I got admission in this college with 89% tile in JEE Mains.
