Gurukula Kangri University or Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya is a Deemed to be University located in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya Faculty of Engineering and Technology was established in the year of 2000.

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology imparts education in the field of Engineering and Technology focusing on the four major departments: Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. All the courses are approved by AICTE.

Admission to the B.Tech courses will be made strictly in accordance with rules and regulations made by Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) /Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) through counselling based on merit in JEE Main.

Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya Faculty of Engineering & Technology offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree program to the candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Engineering and Technology. The university also accepts a lateral entry in the second year of B.Tech program.

The minimum eligibility for admission to the B.Tech. first year is Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from any recognized Board or University of India or foreign country.

Admission shall be made strictly in accordance with rules and regulations made by Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) /Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) through All India ranks (AIRs) of JEE Main followed by a counselling round conducted by the vishwavidyalaya.
Candidates allotted seat through Central Counseling held at different centres throughout country have to complete all formalities of admission (Fee and document deposition) during prescribed dates given by CSAB/JOSAA failing which their candidature will automatically be cancelled.
Candidates admitted through Central Counseling conducted by C.S.A.B./JOSAA can also avail the chance of upgradation in case of availability of seats by filling the same form.
Remaining seats vacant after C.S.A.B. counseling will be filled through candidates by applying through our application form on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) of JEE Main after upgrading the already admitted students.
Candidates shall have to deposit a demand draft of Rs. 5000/- as counseling fee in favour of the Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya payable at Haridwar at the time of counseling.

II year lateral entry.) by cash or Demand Draft in favour of "Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar," payable at Haridwar.
Admission form for B.Tech lateral course can be obtained from the website
Application form for Direct Admission to B.Tech. II year (lateral entry) can also be downloaded from university website and send along with Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- in favour of "Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar," payable at Haridwar.
Application for B.Tech 1 year against vacant seat can be filled online on the website and print out of the same alongwith a DD of Rs 300/- in favour of Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya Haridwar payable at Haridwar should be sent to the office of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, on or before last date.

There are some of the private college which i applied but i selected this one because this is govt and also there are many more opportunities providev here. You can get admission through jossa nad csab and cutoff is around 70k for jossa and 300k for csab. Also there is a form for this college you can check that out.

I also applied for NITs and there I got chemical engineering but I wanted to go for CSE that's the main reason I waited for it and then got admission in this college. You can get admission in this college through JOSAA and CSAB and they also have diploma courses so you can get through them also

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

Admission:

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University. The admission process was fairly simple, 75k were deposited during the JOSAA councilling and documents like 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet, Medical Certificate etc. were required to submit during the admission process.

Admission:

I choose this college because I was not having another other option except private colleges and the fees of this college is comparative Low as compared to private colleges. In comparison to other colleges it is not too good college because of its curriculum infrastructure and not having clubs sports fertilities. The admission process of student in this college is very simple I got admission in this college through CSAB. After getting seat allotment in C Tab you will get email and the time when you have to report in college within time you have to report in college and submit all the documents and within one or two days you will be allotted hostel and you will continue class as told by Faculty of this college. You can get admission in this college at very low rank I got admission in this college with 89% tile in JEE Mains.
