i like the teaching methodology of the professors
the environment of the college is very positive
each & every faculty member are very helpfull

Dislikes

city area is small, but there is many things to explore
college is very strict about attendance but it makes you punctual
you will get limited opportunity but that are excellent

Course Curriculum Overview

I will rate it 10/10. Because there are many labs in college. RIT is providing a very good academic exposure bcoz they atre integrated with many renowned Corporates such as TCS, INFOSYS, MONGO DB,Juniper Etc

Placement Experience

There is a separate & totally dedicated Traning & placement cell. In all branches they are providing excellence placement opportunities. in the last year of my btech, approx 50+ companies visited with great packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college fee is decent because i got the toppers quota scholarship at the time of admission. Academic fee including all charges costs around160000 and if you have a good percentage in your 12th , you will get scholarship.

Campus Life

The experience in those 4 years is excellent. Multiple events are organized by the different clubs in college - Cultural fest, sports events, Tech fest Most of the events organized by students it will develop leadership , teamwork.

Hostel Facilities

Girls and boys hostel both are available in hostel. Hostel facility are very good and they will conduct time titime inspections to check food quality. the food quality & hygenie is very good in the hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

I was applied in 4-5 colleges in Delhi NCR, Gurgaon, Meerut but I selected RIT ROORKEE bcoz as i searched RIT is providing alot of opportunities to students . The curriculum is totally updated with corporate exposure.

Faculty

All faculty members are experienced & well qualified. My class mentors was always ready to help us. They will conduct internal exams time to time to students growth. they follow the veer madho singh bhandari uttarakhand technical university curriculum.

Night Life

In girls hostel, there are time restrictions but we enjoyed a lot because multiple night events were organized. such as Garba night, Ganpati pooja & diwali fest. After the classes , they also organize some hostel activities like as Singing, dancing, street play

Likes

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

I really like the nature view from the campus.

Dislikes

I dont like the college timetable as i have 6 hours of classes and 3 hours of break in between which kills alot of time.

Placement Experience:

From semester 7 students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like samsung, infosys, IBM have offered placements. Talking about my plan i have an idea to start after my degree or maybe experience of a couple of years.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.

A overall overview of college in term of my thinking.

Likes

College faculty is quite supportive in term of working.
College atmosphere for study is good for students.
College social interaction and certain society are good for overall improvement of students.

Dislikes

College placement does satisfy the required term.
Some college professor are not supporting in certain circumstances.
Infrastructure is quite old as per new baches for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and curriculum of colleges influenced by some professor that include something to the world that include in the current term. Improvement thst include the teaching method and the term of it and the frequency and timing of exam along prospective of the difficulty level is more.

Green Campus with Quality Training and Placement support

Campus environment and infrastructure is good.
The college fees in so affordable for bachelor degree.
Faculty and staff is quite supportive and so interacting.

Dislikes

Fines were taken by the campus on each and every smalls things.
Many restrictions were put on the students.
Library of the college ony having the books related to course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement after 5th semester. Many companies visit to the campus for placement of students and hire them at good packages. The highest placement is of 84 LPA and the average package is around 5LPA. 96% of students got placed in companies.

The admission process was super smooth and easy. The teachers of the admission cell are so supportive that it makes it easy even for a new student to go through all the procedures. I didn't availed any quota, but one can get admission on the basis of sports quota, Army quota and many more and will avail some scholarship as well for the same. For B-Tech CSE, one need to get atleast 60% marks in PCM, that is in Physics, Chemistry and Maths you should have an aggregate of 60% of marks. There's no such age mentioned to get admitted. The admission process consists of 3 parts:- Visit the institution and speak about the scholarships and all. Selecy your branch and get your documents verified and there will be a personal counselling session as well on this day.
