After 7 semester the students became eligible for the college placements, palo alto came here and gave the package of 58 LPA , Infosys,TCS,DRDO, DECATHLON,HRX,WIPRO, GOOGLE are the top recruiters.the highest package was of 58 LPA and average is 7.5 LPA. There are more than 85% students who are getting placements. My plan is to appear for the defence examinations after completing my degree

There are companies like , TCS, WIPRO,PAYPAL who offer the role of a paid intern.most of the students gets their placements from the colllege only . The college also have a rich experience in placing students in good company.
College events, various clubs and facilities available in campus
Youthopia is the fest that is organised on the month of November, there is fresher's party organised on September, there are a wide variety of books and generals available in our college library which is known as VEDA. The library is totally well furnished . Fully AC and with comfortable seats. The sports activities are decent there are different kind of sports event getting organised in the college, yes there are different clubs and social groups are in the college.

See the talking about the fee structure for B.TECH CS AI/ML it is around 14 lacs and if you are from uttrakhand you can avail the domicile scholarship after applying scholarship the fee for the same cource is 11.5 lacs i paid only 143000 as my first semester fee. Talking about my batchmates they are also from uttrakhand so because of state quota they are also paying same as me. There are different kind of scholarship available, candidates with marks over 80% in PCM+ENGLISH will get scholarship, scholarship will be getting increased if the 12%increases . Students from defence background can also avail the scholarship. Students who have a good sports background can get scholarship through it.
Students view on Course structure
The cource is totally relevant to the upcomming tech and inventions it is in a manner that someone persuing it will land at somewhere good in life. The faculties managing the labs are so fine that the students gets the best application based experiments . It prepares us well for the academics. The area i believe for improvement is chemistry. Faculties , their bond with students and examination pattern
The faculty to student ratio is 1:60 in lectures and 3:60 on labs , the relationship between the students and the teachers are quite good . The teachers are approachable. Every faculty is good in their way of teaching but Mr. FATEH sir is the best faculty for maths i belive. He makes the subject so easy and intresting for us that we take intrest in understanding the concepts. There are two type of main exam that is mid term and end term exams , the exam papers are well defined and tough at the same time. there are very less students who gets failed.
Admission process and eligibility criteria
See i applied for GRAPHIC ERA HILL UNIVERSITY too but later i shifted to DIT because of the overall experience of the candidates that i heard from both the colleges. There is lots of students in GEHU due to which the management gets bad. I choosed DIT because of the alumunus network too . My cousins are also graduated from DIT they gave me all the insights about the college which helped me to get into the best college in DEHRADUN. I rejected GEHU , UTTRANCHAL UNIVERSITY because in the low fee i was getting good and well qualified faculties there in DIT. The average package was also good. To get admission into this college students have to get more than 70% in class 12th boards examinations. Competitive exams like JEE,CUET is also accepted there.

Dehradun Institute of Technology was formed in 1998 by the Unison group and was established by Govt. of Uttarakhand vide Act No.10. DIT University Cutoff
DIT University accepts admission based on both merit scores of the 10+12 class, graduation, and entrance examination. DIT University Admission
DIT University admission 2024 is based on both merit and entrance examinations for admission to over 70 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. For admission to particular degrees, the institution accepts national entrance tests like as JEE Main, UKSEE, MAT, XAT, CAT, etc. To choose students for MPharm, MTech, and PhD programs, the institution also administers its admission exam, known as the DUET. The admission requires students to register online for counselling sessions or group discussions and personal interviews for the respective courses.

The application form for the counselling process can be filled out online by visiting the website. The detailed application process is as follows:
- Register using a valid email address and phone number, and pay the registration fee.
- Update the DIT University Registration Form with your qualifying marks.

DIT University Scholarship
DIT University offers several scholarships for students with academic excellence. The scholarships are based on the merit of the students. The scholarships are mentioned below:
- Merit-Based Scholarships: Scholarships are based on merit throughout the program. Students get 10, 20, and 30% of scholarships on tuition fees.
- Uttarakhand / Other Himalayan States Scholarships: A 26% scholarship on Tuition fees is granted to the permanent residents of Uttarakhand / Other Himalayan States for whom 40% of seats are reserved in all UG / PG programs. For claiming the scholarship students need to carry a valid Original Domicile Certificate at the time of their Counseling / Admission.

I always wanted a college which have polite environment and my college is really good in this. It is free from ragging and drugs it is very clean college. The process of admission is also easy all you have to do is get good marks.

- The faculty of my college is the best in dehradun , They not only clear the doubts but try to give maximum marks to the students.
- My campus is also beautiful as it is situated almost at mussorie making the view extraordinary
Dislikes
- It is far from my home so takes a bit time to reach , Its better for those who live in college
- Canteen food is not that good only the 2 canteens have good food and they are costly

I only applied to 2 colleges both in dehradun because i am preparing for defence services and i didn't want to go out of dehradun for study and coaching purposes. The other college was UPES ehich i did get into but i didn't join it because the reviews of my college was better and the fees too was too much in UPES. And i had my couisin in my college and she said this is a good college and that's why i joined it. The admission process is pretty easy firs you have to register for your cource from the college site , then they will call u for onboarding in june, there they will make your SAP ID and outlook email will be allotted to you , then after the submission of the fees, Classes will start accordingly.

I did not apply to any other college as i found it to be the best around the others The admission process for dit university is very simple they ask you basic questions about the field u want to opt for and then they check your percentage of 10th and 12th and give u discount accordingly

I did not applied for any other collegw other than the DIT because i know i can get admiss in dit as my marks are good in 12th board . I choose DIT because of its location as it is located near mountains and i love mountains.

I choose this college because of its favourable conditions to study. exam in semester happen at unconditional time sometimes too early. Previous i was trying to do bca from Kalinga University but i haven't opted math in higher secondary that why they rejected me then i decided to do bpharma from here.
Likes
- Equality among students. No matter who you are where you are from you are treated equally
- We had qualified faculties which actually madr the experience much better
Dislikes
- The campus is quite big amd we were not allowed to bring our vehicles near our respectively buildings
- Canteen is super expensive which is not affordable

I've applied to NCR SIDE college too but here the environment and atmosphere is too good that no other college I liked to go. Yes I got rejected in one college as I've given there exam and cutoff goes too high I takes direct admission on the basis of academic performance and jee performance
Admission:
I only applied to DIT university. I think the location is best and choose this college because i wanted to learn how to live on your own. The placement of the college was very impressive and the fees structure for me was just perfect. The admission process was easy from filling the registration form to finally coming to the college. They were very helpful about the documents they needed. Everything was briefed earlier for us so as to avoid any hassle.

Students can also avail of scholarships offered by DIT University based on the CGPA obtained every year of study. The top 10% of the students in each UG program shall be eligible for the merit scholarships applicable to the tuition fee as per the below-mentioned details:
- The scholarship will be awarded to the top 10% of total students who appeared in final term examination.
- The scholarship will be awarded to the students subject to clearing all papers in a single attempt without any back paper, UFM, and Indiscipline case.

Uttarakhand/ Other Himalayan State Scholarships: Applicable to UG & PG Programs
26% of scholarships on Tuition fees shall be granted to permanent residents of Uttarakhand for whom 25% of seats are reserved in all UG and PG programs. For claiming the Uttarakhand State Scholarship, the student will be considered eligible only if he/she is carrying a valid Domicile Certificate in Original at the time of reporting for Counselling/Admission.

Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji Scholarship for Girl Students: Applicable to UG Programs
A scholarship of 10% of Tuition fees is applicable for Female students in their first year of UG and Diploma programs subject to the following conditions:
- The student has scored 80% & above in X & XII Std. aggregate for UG programs and 80% in X Standard for Diploma programs.
- The scholarship percentage will remain the same for all categories of admissions.
- Scholarship to be continued from second year provided the student obtains CGPA 8.5 and above every year, without any back paper.
Scholarship for Children of Defence Personnel (Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guards, Paramilitary Forces including CAPF (AC)): Applicable to UG Programs
- Scholarship for Children of Defence Personnel
A scholarship of 5% of Tuition fees is applicable for wards of Defence personnel in the first year of the UG and Diploma programs. For claiming the scholarship, the student will be considered eligible only if he/she is carrying a valid certificate/document as under in the original at the time of reporting for Counselling / Admission.
- In the case of serving Defence personnel – A dependent’s card issued to the servicemen / A certificate issued by the UnitHead/C.O. of the servicemen, an ID card of the servicemen, an ID/Aadhaar card of the student
- In the case of retired Defence personnel – The discharge certificate of the servicemen, the ID card of the Ex-Servicemen. ID/Aadhaar card of the student.
- Scholarship for Children of Defence personnel (Martyrs Defence Personnel / Gallantry Medals Awardees)
A scholarship of 5% on Tuition fees is applicable for children of Martyrs Defence personnel in the first year of the UG programs. For claiming the scholarship, the student will be considered eligible only if he/she is carrying a valid Certificate/documents as under in original at the time of reporting for Counseling / Admission namely a Dependent’s card issued to the servicemen/A Certificate issued by the Unit Head / C.O. of the Servicemen, Aadhaar card of the father/mother, Certificate of Gallantry Medal Award, and the Aadhaar card of the student.

Scholarship on the basis of performance in Sports: Applicable to UG & PG Programs
The scholarship amount will be awarded as per Sports Quota Scholarship policy which is applicable once at the time of admission on Tuition Fee only. However, students of the second year onward will be eligible for scholarships subject to participation in International/ National/state-level sports activities subject to approval from the competent authority. NOTE: Scholarships applicable for differently-abled students, children of single mothers, and for orphan students can be continued only on maintaining a CGPA of 7.0 and above every year, without any back paper, UFM, and Indiscipline case.
RULES FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
- In case any candidate falls in Category (A), (B) & (C) the candidate may choose higher of the three options of Scholarship in the year of admission.
- If the student belongs to Uttarakhand Category and is entitled for a higher scholarship from Category (A) or (C) in the year of admission (Refer point “a” above), he/she will continue to be eligible for the UK Domicile rebate for the rest of the tenure of the program.
- In case any Girl Student is falling either in Category (A), Category (B), Category (C) and also in Category (D), in such case, she is eligible for Scholarship of Higher of the category (A) or (B) or (C) along with the additional scholarship of Category (D).
- Scholarship Category (D, E, and F) are over and above scholarship of Category (A), (B) and (C), as applicable.
- The students who are eligible for the scholarship/s as per the norms specified by the University should address their application to the Registrar with relevant documents for consideration latest by 31st August 2020.
- The total of all scholarships is subject to a maximum limit of applicable Tuition fees for the year.
- Scores / Marks / Grades / Ranks as required for the award of scholarship should be without any Back /Improvement / Supplementary papers.
- Students completing their degrees from open school will not be eligible for scholarships mentioned at S. No. A.
- In case, at any later stage, any discrepancy in the document/s or awarding of scholarship/s in the appropriate category is found, DIT University has the right to make necessary correction/s at any stage including the recovery of an amount of such scholarship.
- In case of any dispute/discrepancy/clarification, the decision of the Vice-Chancellor will be final and binding.
- All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts at Dehradun.
