The faculty should ratio a very good and the teachers teaches very well and they have a great responsibility and demanding power of the student they teachers very well and they understand us like their own son
If you have a good % in your 12th you will get a good scholarship for your fees.
Campus life is fun with i guess the best cafe in all of doon one of the best rooftop cafe and other amenities also good .

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not so good in my opinion but it depends on person to person.i don't like hostel because of many restrictions but there's always a way to do things.
The staff doesn't have a good communication amang themselves which leads to poor effectiveness ratio between faculty-to-student which impact the experience of student whether it's related to college or the leaarning experience.
There were internship opportunities, so many, but the only problem was that we were being asked to pay for every internship and i personally wasn't ready at all to pay for the internships and henceforth i did not choose any.

Good place for your undergraduate degree

Likes

The campus is very beautiful the faculties are helpful .
classes and labs are clean and a very good space is there for studying in this college.
The curriculum is good you got to learn new things about technology and coding.

Dislikes

a well structured sports ground is not available in the college just a normal hostel ground is there.
strictness is there in college on uniform and several other things.
long routine is there specially in btech like 9-5 full the students get tired sometimes

Placement Experience:

placements are good here with a avg package of 5 lakhs but students who work reall hard get placemnts more than 10 lakhs the highest package at my time was of 58 lakhs and many got 10-20 lakhs package as well so i say placements aare decent here. Companies such as oracle adobe palalto visits here and they give higher packages to students.

Likes

I like the weather of my College, placement is ok not bad , the place is haven
The infrastructure is best according to me , they have small compound but you don't feel like this
In this college I meet senior who is very sweet

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty , not allowed but some one is irritating
The college doesn't have more playground for the sports
And the last one is campus is look like small.

Placement Experience:

The college get highest of 2 cr , a student get placed while he is already passed out from there before he get placed so basically he get placed at his own . At the right time the average placement is around 4 lpa

DIT Review in a short term.

Likes

Its location because it is situated in mountain so you get a beautiful view.
Their placement are quite good as compare to other colleges
Campus life is also quite good and the staff is also supportive

Dislikes

First thing is that it is situated on slopes so body gets exhausted
Sometimes it feels like students are in great number in every program
Well these are the only things that I personally don't feel like to be good

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is quite well and decent. In 2024 highest package was around 30Lac CTC and on an average it was around 6-8 lac CTC. From 6 or 7 semester students are eligible to get into placement rounds.

THE COMPLETE GUIDE

Likes

have different clubs to enhance personality and improve your communication skills
events take place sometimes to for fun and enjoyment and in odd semester freshers and youthopia take place
internship programs took place for skill development of students

Dislikes

have negligible sports infrastructure there is only one small ground beside the boys hostel which have one basketball court two volleyball nets and one small cricket net in it.
computer lab's computers are very slow (works very slowly and buffers very oftenly)
however there are very much restrictions

Placement Experience:

The placements are provided by the college only if you have overall 7.5 cgpa in your course . however there are placements somewhere around at 5-10 lakhs of package and 1-2 jobs offered above 20 lakhs . the average package of the university is 6.2 lakh per annum. companies like infosys and deloitte comes in university for placement.

Fair review

Likes

Good location weather is also good with lots of greenry
Good faculty sporting teachers and understanding of concepts
Behaviour of students is also very good .

Dislikes

Less area for playgrounds and less sports activity
Computer labs are good but sometimes the only few computers lags

Placement Experience:

From sem 5 students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies visited our college like tcs infoysis L&T etc. Highest package acheived by student is 58 lakhs and average package is 6 to 8 lakhs. Almost 40 to 60 percent students get placements. My plan is first to get a placement with good package if not possible i will study for gate exam and plan to do mtech from a good reputated university

Likes

Faculty of our college are very helping they help us in every turn
The infrastructure of our college is amazing
The cafeteria of our college provide clean and tasty food

Dislikes

There is no big ground in our college to held a big event

After 6th semester students are eliigible for campus placement. There are many companies like Apple, Microsoft, TCS,etc. Highest package of our college is 44 lakhs per annum. The average placement of our college is 5 lakhs per annum.

Likes

The faculty of my college is the best in dehradun , They not only clear the doubts but try to give maximum marks to the students.
My campus is also beautiful as it is situated almost at mussorie making the view extraordinary
The library at my college is also huge and contains books of almost every niche

Dislikes

It is far from my home so takes a bit time to reach , Its better for those who live in college
Canteen food is not that good only the 2 canteens have good food and they are costly
Girls to boy ratio is a bit uneven, is some sections the girls are more and in some boys are more

Placement Experience:

What i heard from my seniors was that placements are decent from our college if an individual has a good cgpa and good amount of projects he'll get placed in a decent package. Various companies visited our college like in 2023 amazon, microsoft visited and offere 58LPA to one of the students. Last year too many visited even though there was a shortage in the market like Yamaha Motors, Accenture etc

The location is very beautiful as the college is surrounded with clouds
The college has multiple cafes and restaurants they also have a CCD cafe in the campus
The faculty of my department are very supportive and the always try to give us the best opportunities

Dislikes

The management system of the college is not upto the mark
The college is not able toh convey the news on time

The students are eligible for the placement in the 7th semister The companies which come to our campus are lnt and other local companies The average package is 400000 and can go upto 800000 per annum 60% of students take placement in my field rest of the student choose to opt for the business

The good college

Likes

College infrastructure is good overall and great classrooms
Location of the college is very good as it is in mountains
Great fest in the college campus like sports and cultural fest

Dislikes

Faculty of computer science departments are not good
Placements are not good as expected at time of admission
Some faculty members are not supportive they are rude

Course Curriculum Overview:

The overall curriculum are best for the academic. The 50% olare internal and 50% external. In internal 20% marka for quizs and 20% for parcticals and 10% for assignments. In external 20% is for the mid term and 30% for the end terms

The real experience

Likes

College have the good infrastructure having different blocks for every department
The location of the college is very good as it located near mountains .
One thing is very good that college never shows your backlog on original marksheet

Dislikes

The faculty of school of computing is average not good
The placement of the college is not good as its shows
There is lack of managements for examination department

My friend is a final-year student at DIT University. Since the university is a private one, everything is simply in your hands.

The following points are based on her experience at the campus:

Campus: The university has a good environment. You can enjoy the sterile hilly scenic beauty from the windows of the class. All this might even distract you from the lectures going on while studying.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and would definitely help you out in any way possible. As per my friend, there are only a smaller number of ‘not par’ teachers, but they were average. Most of the faculty members are well qualified with good experience in their respective fields.
Extra-curricular activities: Right from the freshers’ party till the farewell, you will get countless opportunities to perform in front of the audience and showcase your talent. You can join college clubs, be a part of them and bring out new ideas. The clubs aren’t very active and you’ll be free most of the time you stay here.
Placements: The placements were good this year. My friend got placed in two companies: Infosys and Wipro. For the CS branch, the placements are very good. Infosys, Wipro, Cognizance, TCS, Adobe, Amazon, etc. are just a few companies in which the DIT students have got placed.
