What Students Say

Likes

Its location because it is situated in mountain so you get a beautiful view.
Their placement are quite good as compare to other colleges
Campus life is also quite good and the staff is also supportive

Dislikes

First thing is that it is situated on slopes so body gets exhausted
Sometimes it feels like students are in great number in every program
Well these are the only things that I personally don't feel like to be good

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is quite well and good as according to the placement basis. In 1 and 2 year college try to taught basic knowledge about coding language like C, DSA, Java , Javascript and in 3 md 4 year students get to choose the particular stream and get their knowledge in it deeply.

Class Size: 87Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement of the college is quite well and decent. In 2024 highest package was around 30Lac CTC and on an average it was around 6-8 lac CTC. From 6 or 7 semester students are eligible to get into placement rounds.

Fees and Financial Aid

174600 per semester and if you have 80 %+ in 12th then you can apply for scholarship..overall on an average its nearly 10-13 lac for 4 year..and after applying scholarship your fees will be nearly 9 lac and you have maintain a Minimum cgpa to gain scholarship.

Campus Life

My overall experience is good. Their are fest held every year like youthopia and freshers party for the students and singers do come in fest. College also focuses on sports as there are different tournament for badminton, cricket, and other games.

Admission

The first thing to choose this college is it's decent fees as compared to other colleges and the other thing is its placement ratio and ofcourse its beautiful view. Admission process is very easy you have to show your secondary academic result and get your admission on that basis.

Faculty

Faculty is very supportive towards the students..staffs are everytime available for the students..labs are good .. practicals are done 3 times a week. If i tell about exams then there are two types of exam per semester first one is mid term and another is end term.

Night Life

Nightlife around the campus is not so good. If you have to enjoy and do the parties in club then you have to travel around 6-10 km away form the campus. Their are several gym around the campus and in hostel aswell while their are many hanging spots as you will be on mountains.

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. If someone don't get on campus then cell helps in getting off campus placement. Enormous amd strong alumini network helps in getting off campus placement.

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally good for circuital branches but as for lower branches either you have to go in core which is difficult(off campus it is easy , since you have a IIT tag) but non core placements are decents . From 7th semster one become capable for sitting in interviews. Highest package is around 2Cr as for average it ranges between 22-30 lpa Almost 100% students are placed except for those who with thier own startup or try for offcampus placements. My plans are for getting a MBA degree from IIM Ahmedabad or Banglore.

I choosen this course because of my interest in the field of information technology . Faculties are very good and they have good teaching experience. Qualification for the faculties us 7to 8 years teaching experience and degree of PHD . Term exam held two times every year . Difficulty is moderate

My review for DIT University, Dehradun

For BCA, individual must have had opted science for the 12th degree. I maths was not opted then there is 1 year compulsary maths bridge course. The application form, fees and dates, everything is available on DIT University's official website. The admission procees was pretty much simple.
