The faculty should ratio a very good and the teachers teaches very well and they have a great responsibility and demanding power of the student they teachers very well and they understand us like their own son
If you have a good % in your 12th you will get a good scholarship for your fees.
Campus life is fun with i guess the best cafe in all of doon one of the best rooftop cafe and other amenities also good .

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not so good in my opinion but it depends on person to person.i don't like hostel because of many restrictions but there's always a way to do things.
The staff doesn't have a good communication amang themselves which leads to poor effectiveness ratio between faculty-to-student which impact the experience of student whether it's related to college or the leaarning experience.
There were internship opportunities, so many, but the only problem was that we were being asked to pay for every internship and i personally wasn't ready at all to pay for the internships and henceforth i did not choose any.

Weather, people, staff, library, vedanta block
I do like staff , as they are from different states and I really love learning about different people
Same as earlier i do like my fellow students alot as they have many things and values to share. Overall i liked college environment

Dislikes

I don’t like auditorium as its small and larger gatherings are not possible
I hate that there are no much fests in this college.
Its too much study but not college life enjoyment

Placement Experience:

So there are sessions and accordingly you get your job. It depends on your interview and you knowledge you gained so far from your 4 years course. And well if student doesn't get placed college provide list of companies were you can apply off campus top

The infrastructure is good .The environment is good and faculty is also excellent and to be honest the rest depends on you how you want to see your college but from my perspective the college is good to go.
The clubs,staff,events everything is fun.You will have a good time here and you will get to experience your collge life as you wished.
Another thing i liked about my college is that the hostels are very good and the pg,rooms are not at very much distance,they are at a walkinng distance and are easily available.

Dislikes

The only thing i disliked is the area. The campus is small,not very small but yaa it is small but it doesn't matter as you'll get used to it.
There is nothing as such to dislike the rest is upto u.
There is nothimg as such to dislike its upto you.

Placement Experience:

Last year 2023 wass recession so less students were hired .The campus placement is good average is ig 5 to 6 lakh .Recently amazon hired a student with a package of 60 to 70 L .I plan to get on campus placement during my time here in college .

I like about DIT is location, mountains view
Here Faculty are supportive you can take doubts in their free time
here wardens are also nice they are like your uncle

Dislikes

Library closing time is 6pm this is very bad
Freshers party, Cultural fests are only 1 time in 1 year
Sports activities are 0 no proper cricket , basketball ground

Course Curriculum Is old as all private colleges have. 75% attendance criteria is also here They can increase no of fests,cultural activities You will get max 1 month to prepare for exams like before that you are covering syllabus of the exam

Is DIT University Dehradun worth?

Likes

The teachers are very skilled and PHD holders
Infrastructure and work environment is maintained.
There is almost 50:50 girl boy ratio. You'll get to socialize by joining clubs.

Dislikes

Sometimes the crowd handling is given to 4 year students, who sometimes face difficulty.. resulting in chaos

Placement Experience:

After 6th and 7th semester students are eligible for the placements and the placements of this college is above the average the placement of this college is 5LPA and the highest package drawn by student is 40 LPA, there is campus placement, almost 80% of the students get their placements from the campus only.. my plan after getting degree is doing job for a few years and build a startup...

Location is the best thing here, which makes it much more safer for girls
Faculties are cooperative and well educated to help there students
Placement for all the courses are up to the mark

Dislikes

Time gap between the classes and long gap between two classes
Over expensive than other colleges with the same experience
Lacking in sports field and less interest in physical activities

Placement Experience:

Placements here are much better than any other reputed colleges and it provides campus placement with an average of 4 lakhs per annum. It's having a very high rate of placements in here and having a greater opportunity to purse a further masters degree.

There is very less amount of holidays given.

Campus placements at DIT university are very good as it is recorded that each and every student of every department gets placed every year with a good and respectful package. Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. In our department the percentage of placement is 100%.

Likes

Beutiful campus looks good in between the hills
Good environment for students who do coding
Teacher are very experienced and familiar to the students

Dislikes

College is good but i think it's not worthy
Campus have no ground for playing and roming
Hostel food is to bad which we can't even eat someday

Faculty teachers they focus on you and are good in there respective jobs they help you out and put efforts
No soo much of drama like doing fest every month it is good to focus on studies
Not so much crowded helps in a better environment

The campus is very small its like just 3,4 building where you go and study

Placements of the college is good students can do internship easily after second year and there are also good opportunities of campus placements there lowest package is 4 lakhs and highest is around 50 lakhs and with the avg 8 lakhs 85-90% students get placements easily my plans after degree ia to persue mba from usa or Singapore

The environment is the factor that the students are having good information about their field.
Events regarding academics and non academic event keep doing on in the college.
The infrastructure is good , facilities are also good

Dislikes

That the campus has no ground to play cricket and other sports
Classroom are bit normal considering it as a university
Cafes and CCDS are costly , not pocket friendly for a student.

Placement Experience:

After 7 semester the students became eligible for the college placements, palo alto came here and gave the package of 58 LPA , Infosys,TCS,DRDO, DECATHLON,HRX,WIPRO, GOOGLE are the top recruiters.the highest package was of 58 LPA and average is 7.5 LPA. There are more than 85% students who are getting placements. My plan is to appear for the defence examinations after completing my degree

My friend is a final-year student at DIT University. Since the university is a private one, everything is simply in your hands.

The following points are based on her experience at the campus:

Campus: The university has a good environment. You can enjoy the sterile hilly scenic beauty from the windows of the class. All this might even distract you from the lectures going on while studying.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and would definitely help you out in any way possible. As per my friend, there are only a smaller number of ‘not par’ teachers, but they were average. Most of the faculty members are well qualified with good experience in their respective fields.
Extra-curricular activities: Right from the freshers’ party till the farewell, you will get countless opportunities to perform in front of the audience and showcase your talent. You can join college clubs, be a part of them and bring out new ideas. The clubs aren’t very active and you’ll be free most of the time you stay here.
Placements: The placements were good this year. My friend got placed in two companies: Infosys and Wipro. For the CS branch, the placements are very good. Infosys, Wipro, Cognizance, TCS, Adobe, Amazon, etc. are just a few companies in which the DIT students have got placed.
