I like about DIT is location, mountains view
Here Faculty are supportive you can take doubts in their free time
here wardens are also nice they are like your uncle

Dislikes

Library closing time is 6pm this is very bad
Freshers party, Cultural fests are only 1 time in 1 year
Sports activities are 0 no proper cricket , basketball ground

My overall experience is good in this university, there are various type of clubs that are focusing on public speaking , coding clubs and singing , dance, and ncc is also here college will provide you all details and sports activities are low

Hostel Facilities

Hostel of 1st year named Sarabhai is really nice. Sarabhai is neat and clean hostel and hostel rooms are not conjusted for 1st year and mess food is good untill moon comes. means night food is not so good but in day you can expect eatable food. If you want to take a rented room or pg then you can because rented flats pgs are near the DIT.

Admission

I choose this college over other colleges due to weather,location and low crowd as compared to other colleges. I also have option for chitkara university but chandigarh side there is very much crowd so thats why i consider this ollege for btech

The faculty to student ratio is 6:1 , Faculties are supportive I liked my maths faculty , Shilpi Singhal mam is really nice she will never get you bored in her lecture I Don't like my graphics faculty There are Mid sem terms & End terms Exams are easy for those Students who take class on regular basis

Campus placements starts here from the final year only as before that intenrships and workshops and trainings take it's toll. So, once they starts, every other week we have some or the other companies visiting here and not just that, they also don't go empty hand.

Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

I choose this course because this college is semi government college in Haridwar . And fees are also not so high as compared to other private colleges . You can get various scholarships on the basis of your percentile in jee mains and your 12th percentage. It's around 100 percent for 90+ percentile in jee mains and 100 percent for 95+ in PCM in 12th.
