Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty Student Ratio is very Poor approx 1:90. Only Two Faculty is PHD Holder in CSE department. I choose this college because low rank. Peer Group is not good. Exams were taken timely, paper is bit difficult.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very High according to the infrastructure or the facilities available in the college are very Poor. No scholarship is available for any Student. As compared to state engineering college the fees is very high and facilities is also less as compared to state engineering college.

No active Club in the college. Jyanagni Tech Fest is only fest for whole year. Library is also very available . Only curriculum Books are available in library. Seats for self study is also less in the library Aprrox 20 seats for 2000+ students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is only available in first year. Mess food is below average. 4 sharing room hostel is available which is very Bad according to my prospective. Hostel is available for only SC & ST students after 1st year.

Admission

Eligibility JEE MAINS APPLICATION ON JOSSA AND CSAB COUNSELING ON THE BASIS OF JEE MAINS RANK Admission is also open for non JEE students after the end of CSAB COUNSELING when Vacant seats is available.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University.
