Likes

Teacher are good and supportive, they are very helpful.
Senior are supportive to their juniors in every field.
Campus is beautiful, neat and clean. Everything is neat and clean.

Dislikes

Campus is far from the hostel. And it is far from the main city.
College not based on co-education. It's only boys college.
Their is very less placement, and college campus is also very small.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choose this college because I wanted to do engineering in computer science. Other wise I would not have opted this college. College life is not so good here. They even complete semester in only 2-3 months.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

There is very less placement from this college. Only few companies come here. Average package in the placement in computer science and engineering branch is 4-5 lakhs per annum. Only 20-30% of students get placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of the college is 5lakhs for full course, they take the semester waise. It's affordable toh normal middle class family. You can get scholarship, or financial aid from govt scheme or you can get it from bank.

Campus Life

There is not technical festival are held in this College. Once in a year some festival me happen. The technology is class is nothing. And in library not every student can get their subject book. Sports and extracurricular are held once in year.

Hostel Facilities

In hostel you are provided a bed, almirah, chair, table and fan. The quality of food is not good. Even insect are found in food, but hostel are at less cost. It cost only 62000 per year. But it's very difficult to get the hostel because there is nearly 300 bed only.

Admission

I have applied for my other colleges, but I didn't get seat there because I had not scored good in jee mains examination. The csab counselling has assigned me this college. I came in this college only to complete my graduation in computer science and engineering

Faculty

The faculty in college are very supportive. They enough for the students. The exam is taken on regular basis monthly, and at last in end of every semester. It is difficult to pass the semester exam. But monthly exam is normally easy compaired to semester.

Night Life

There is no gym, cafeteria in the college. Their is only library in this college. Hostel is also 6-7 km from the college. You have fixed timming 10 -5 college, six days in a week. There is no famous palace in the campus. You can go toh rishikesh from here

Is it one of the best private college ?

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good here many companies comes at campus every year each year the number of companies increases and the highest package is about 32LPA and students are allowed from 7 semester to enroll in campus placement program 100% placement is assured if u are scoring more than 7.5 CGPA and having no backlogs at all my plans are to get degree and try to get the campus placement if possible

Life around Campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.tech Cse course is good as I see that AI rises quickly in this generation which looks good for future. College must increase lab for more practical exercises in labs for better learning, Timings must ne atleast 2 to 3 hour's for better learning.

Overall good college according to fees

Placement Experience:

After completing second year means 4 th semester the students usually start to do the internship and usually the students from 5-6 semester become eligible for the campus placements , there are various companies that visited here like wipro, microsoft, hdfc , intallipat, etc . I don't know about the number of offers but the highest package offered here was 40 lakhs per annum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum activites like Hackathon and Some more like quizes etc are very good as activites and i also love to take part in them and it also helps us to gain more knowledge but there are also activities like memathon or treassure hunt event etc .. etc i know these activities could be fun but these type of activities are way to common and high in college

Placements are not high in this college, but exceptions will be also there. Like there is on an average 4.5LPA as I researched in the websites and also ask in the admission cell. Which is not like satisfied for BTech Students.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. TCS -140 INFOSYS-62 CAPGEMINI -85 ETC. Highest package was around 42Lpa which was off campus and lowest package is 2.1Lpa . Over all placement percentage is 80% I just want a degree from this college and after that I'll get a good job for me even though i do not have very fluent English but still i know some how I'll do it.

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. If someone don't get on campus then cell helps in getting off campus placement. Enormous amd strong alumini network helps in getting off campus placement.

There are some of the private college which i applied but i selected this one because this is govt and also there are many more opportunities providev here. You can get admission through jossa nad csab and cutoff is around 70k for jossa and 300k for csab. Also there is a form for this college you can check that out....Read More

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University.
