I liked the hostel life of the college as we made many good friends.
The area and locality of the hostel was very good

There was only one fest in whole year it was bad.
The food experience of the hostel was not very good.
Sometimes the electricity of the hostel goes at night it was very bad experience.

I choose this course because this is a professional course and there is a bright future in this field. There is a good ratio of students and faculty at my college,there are enough number of faculty to control the students. The teachers are well qualified and have many years of experience. The term exams were taken timely and it was had to pass as the paper were set very hard.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of my college is high but as compared to other b.tech college it is fair. We think cost of study is high in India the government should low the fees for the course. We don't get any of the scholarship or any financial help from the government.

Campus Life

There was a annual fest taken place few days ago named janagni . It was of total three days and we totally enjoyed it. There were too many programs in the fest which we enjoyed. We have a big library in our campus which is full of books and any one can take them with them with the help of the library card we have. We also have a sports faculty in our campus which is very active. There are many clubs run by the students like the Google development club and so on.

Hostel Facilities

We get many facilities in the room like twenty four hours electricity and we get bed and cusan to sleep. The quality of the meal we get is just ok not very tand not very bad,it is only eatable. The menu change daily and after a week the same menu repeats. You can directly register for the hostel and the fee is fifty four thousands. The locality is good we can buy whaiwe want the market is good

Admission

My self Raunak Jaiswal. I have taken admission in this college by giving Jee Mains exam. You can find the application form online and the application fees is 500rs. I haven't got any reservation benefit from the government. I want to see improvement in the addmission process is every student should get seat in their own city. The government should provide every course in every city so that a student should not have problems of going in outer cities and states for studies.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Specific aspects of the circullum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the computer science department as I love knowing about the computer and the efforts of making daily life problems easy and best thing is that if know how to use the computer well you can earn well enough of money in this world the world only cares about that you have money or not if have they will give you respect if don't have it they treat you like shit.

There are some of the private college which i applied but i selected this one because this is govt and also there are many more opportunities providev here. You can get admission through jossa nad csab and cutoff is around 70k for jossa and 300k for csab. Also there is a form for this college you can check that out....Read More

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University.
