- I dont like the college timetable as i have 6 hours of classes and 3 hours of break in between which kills alot of time.
Course Curriculum Overview
Talking about the curriculum it is totally updated for the current and upcoming requirments for the jobs. Area of improvment would be more practical leraning as on now. We have two exam every semester including fornightly tests and quizes.
Placement Experience
From semester 7 students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like samsung, infosys, IBM have offered placements. Talking about my plan i have an idea to start after my degree or maybe experience of a couple of years.
Fees and Financial Aid
My year wise fees is 450000 rs. Managment fees would be around 50000 which has to paid once at the time of admission. You can get scholarship of upto 30-40% according to your jee mains percentile and class 12th marks.
Campus Life
Annual fest is UURJA which is held inthe month of april. Talking about the library UPES has over 100000 books for the students and availability is 9 out of 10. Sports facilities are top notch our campus has a cricket ground , basketball court , volleyball court and a baddminton court also some bords game.
Admission
I did not apply for any other college . Eligibility criteria for UPES is minimun 50% in class 12th boards. Exams accepted are jee mains percentile. Most preferred exam is the entrance exam of college itself, cutoff is above 75% marks.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 1:50 . Faculties are very much approachable at their cabin on weekdays. Also they are phds and some of them are iitians. There are 2 exams one mid sem and one end sem every semester.
Interview Experience
I did not face any interview or any group discussion however there was an entrance exam conducted by the college itself. The cutoff for the entrance exam is 75-80% . Preparing for this exam was not that hard as it coverd class 12th cbse syllabus.
Night Life
College itself has a gym and it has 4 cafeterias offering varities of dishes and snacks till evening. At night time the area near campus wakes upto 12. Hostel timing is 8pm gate closing timeThere are tonns of hangout places in and near campus.
