B Arch or Bachelor of Architecture is a 5-year undergraduate program that deals with the art and science of designing and constructing buildings. B Arch course allows students to become licensed and professional architects and work in professional settings.

B Arch Entrance Exams

B Arch JEE Mains 2025

Students need to qualify for JEE Mains in order to get eligible for Bachelor of Architecture admissions in colleges. Furthermore, if the candidate wishes to get into IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur, they need to clear JEE Advanced followed by AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test). Apart from JEE, students can also give NATA to get into B Arch colleges. JEE Mains Cutoffs are released by NTA or National Testing Agency along with the results of the last session. JEE Mains cut-off is the minimum qualifying percentile required to appear for the JEE Advanced exam. NATA 2025

NATA is the main BArch entrance exam. This national-level exam is conducted by the Council of Architecture for admission into various central, national and state-level architectural colleges across India.

B Arch Eligibility Criteria

Students must fulfil the following requirements in order to get eligible for the B Arch course:

Students must have completed their 12th PCM with at least a 50% aggregate
There is a 5% relaxation for the reserved category
Students must have completed a Class 10 three-year diploma program in any field from a recognized university/board/institution.
Cleared NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) with 80% marks conducted by the Council of Architecture(CoA)

We have 2 teachers for all subjects for a class of 40, except for design subject were we have 4 teachers including 2 visitng faculty. We have workshops conducted as well. We have test every month , only fo theory and atleast internal reviews and we have external review as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got in through KEA KCET couseeling , i got in 1st round it self, so i pais 113000 to kea and 13k to college. Overall it came around 1 lakh 30k. Managemnets students paid 6 lakh per year. And students through comed k paid around 2 lakh.

Faculties and students relationship is really good and interactive. Faculties clear our doubt whenever we ask before or after lectures. They give us more ideas and suggestions for us to understand the topics. Our exams are conducted before our semister. Exams are sometimes hard or good it depends how much we have studied.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I want to learn architecture deeply and also I was interested to learn. This course prepares for us by giving real world examples and applications which is useful for further academics. The frequency and timings for exams have kept enough to understand the questions and write the answers.

ANDHRA UNIVERSITY SECOND HOME TO STUDENTS

i really like sketching painting sculpting. im really drawn to the way the buildings are built and how good can they be build if we studied about them even more is what made me drawn to this course. the teaching methods are good like live sketching, case studies make you involve and explore more. the timings of exams are pretty rough the syllubas wont be going fast the exam dates will be coming fast yeah its pretty tough.

Campus Life

there will be a few fests and events we didnt have any in our time but there are a lot these days in our university. department events are more than combined university events. there are a lot of variety of books available books in the library which is really convinent for the students. there will be clubs and activities in the department. but sports and all you have to come forward and partcipate or initiate them.

College ayyyyyy

The year wise fee payment structure is split into two semester- july sem and january sem. The july sen is usually called the odd semester and the jan one is called the even semester. The institution fees during the odd semester (july) is usually more than that for even semesters. the institute fees are around 93000 for the odd sem and around 64000 during the even sem (except for the first sem for which the institute fees is 1.22 lakh. And this is for general, open ews, iccr and related categories. For SC, ST and PWD students, they need to pay institute fees of about 33000 - 27000 (except for the first sem, you need to pay 60000 including the one time fees)

the faculty members make their own course plans- that includes when they're gonna teach what and how they're gonna do it. Some teachers only consider written exams for grading while others conduct all the exams for grading through speaking assessments. Some teachers take us on trips while others only conduct lectures. It varies from teacher to teacher

I paid tuition college fee Rs65000 in obc category. In pandemic covid, my friend apply for scholarship and they were helped by institution Vescoa samrthan scholarship for financial aid also students can apply for college scholarship its available.

Faculties are well educated and friendly. The course is of five years duration. Only the first year exam conducted annually while the others are conducted semester wise.A 100 days internship provided in 4 th year. The curriculum is tough at times, and the case studies are interesting.

Architecture course review

In first year it is more practical works as basic design includes modeling, paper works, sketching etc...helps to development conceptual, understanding skills. From 4th semester onwards digital works starts. For that provide a class period of cad,revit softwares etc

Currently paying 1,14,200 for annual fee. We can pay the amount sem wise which means half of the amount in sem There is no scholarship granted to me so far. There is a merit cum scholarship, small amount of fees will be reduced.

As I told before the campus is well maintained with some good green lushes can be seen in campus The library fee is collected and it is well kept , you'll get to access anybook inside the library with your I'd card They are having a lot of books which is needed for students, they are having books of every field which is mandatory The facilities they provide good , during summer time. Where heat is lot , they have golf cart for students inside campus they can access it any time and it'll be free The new lecture hall is well kept and maintenaned and is very goodd ,but the department are old The campus includes 2 sports ground cricket and football and then basketball, volleyball, kabaddi , badminton, gym , table tennis, yoga have their respective grounds or halls They don't have much well kept sports equipments They are many clubs where students are allowed to be part of it

For every subject we'll be having a faculty with the PhD student for them to assist, I think it is a very good for the students It is usually good with some of the faculties in the department, having maintenaning good relationship and with others it's a normal student and teacher . Some of the faculties of civil department is very and some are too bad with bad teaching techniques Architectural department has some best staffs and some worst The best is HOD and 2/3 other fellows and the some are moderate and very co operative and some are too bad The good one's push you towards yours things and show up our responsibilities Rest are only cared about academics not about the knowledge About Exam 2 exams will be conducted in entire sem One is mid sem and the other is end sem Mid sem hold less percentage of grade compare to send sem.

i am a 2nd year student so i dont have much knowledge but i know in the 9th semster there is a break of 6 months for the interships and experience in the job field and practical field of architecture. As heard from the seniors they have had a great experience.

Certain things lack but overall understanding is great. the curriculum helps us to understand things ftom the roots and our conceptual learning is good due to that reason. Division of subjects and syllabus with gradual semesters compliment eachother.

The faculty members try to encourage us in every posiible way and provides us with moral supports. they come up with various solutions to our doubts regarding the course and helps us to understand the course better with possible site visits and field trips. The exam patterns and the marking scheme of the exams are quite satisfactory. The college provides a relevant course curriculum.

The fee structure is quite affordable and and provides good opportunities of placements and internships. The college has a very good teaching staff and supportive professors. I pay about rs. 95360 ay fees every year. In that the tution fees are rs. 86364, university fees are rs.360 development fees is rs.8636. this is the fees structure for this year. My batch mates from SC/ST pay rs. 360, ones from NT/ SBC pay rs.8636thr EBC boys pay rs. 52178 and EBC girls pay rs.8996. scholarship for EWS ,financial aid and ladki bahin yojana from Maharashtra government is provided as needed.

The faculties and other staff in college are very nice. They are very kind, knowledgeable, and helping in nature. exams are conducted according to architecture syllabus provided by the university. And marking is also done accordingly

the ability and freedom to design and expeerience a concept is why i picked this course. It does prepare you for the real world but there can be lots of improvment as to on site experiences. the frequency and timing of exams is fine.

faculty is approachable both during college hours and otherwise. Great mentors! always helping and providing new oppurunity to students and its a great experience overall. Exams , per sem , there was internal and external ones

About MANIT

the semester fees for B.Arch students set for is 80400. it is important to note that students belonging to ST /SC are exempt from this fees, they have to have only hostel and mess fees. And for EWS, there is a 25000 fee per semester, and those who have an income of less than 1 lakh don't need to pay a fee.

Faculty to students ratio is too much good. All faculty are well experienced and some of them come out from India they have vast knowledge... And they built very good bind with their students and exam are good .. if u well prepare then easy to pass and faculty have their own speciality most of the subject

• Faculities of this institute is very co-operative and very excellent in their work. They help us in many ways to learn new things and develop ourselves. The relation between students and faculties are so bounded, making learning things more effective. • According myself Ar. Piyush sir, Ar. Rushali mam, Mr. Kekate sir are the one I like the most, they helped us in many ways to improve ourselves and to think big, in unique way to stand out in community. Not only these faculties but other faculities are also very good in their each respective subjects. • There are non faculties which I would dislike, because every faculties are best in their work and are co-operative with each and every students. • There are almost 2 examination and each exams has 2 respective papers. The one is In-sem and other the final semester one and each has 2 papers - BCM and TOS. Respectively. The examination are easy going as we understood all the topics under the subject. The students also perform very well in their respective examinations.

My institute comes under DTE section ( private institute but under government), • The tution fee I am paying is 75000/- per year which is less as compared to the other private institute • The tution fee, caution fee, lab fees and etc are too reasonable as the services are also on point and very excellent. • Our class has various categories like open, OBC, SC, ST and even management one ,we thus have some bit difference in the fee structure. • Scholarships are available for the students. • helps in various way

As my institute comes under DTE section( private institute but under government section, 1) Fees of this instutute in less as compared to the other institutes which is really a great apportunity for every individual 2) Tution fees,caution fees,registration fees,admission fees, development fees,lab fees and the other compulsory charger during the courses are literally nothing as compared to the others 3) As my batchmates are from various category and every individual has different and affordable fees for i.e. those who are from open category they have to pay 135000/- only per year and those who are from another they also get the various apportunity of reservation etc 4) My institute provides various type of scholorships which helps you with your financial condition.

Faculty of the institute are so understanding and cooperative with eaaxh and evey students They ensure that every student must understand every details of the syllabus As per me i really liked Ar.vrushali mam , Ar. piyush sir , Ar. rajesh kekte sir are one of my liked and fav faculty because as they are our year co ordinator as well as our guide in each problems we struggle throughout our syllabus they are very supportive and expert in their work other faculty of our institute are also bestest in their work Their are 6 total subject including 2 theory exam which are easy to clear and each student understands it very nicely.
