Students need to qualify for JEE Mains in order to get eligible for Bachelor of Architecture admissions in colleges. Furthermore, if the candidate wishes to get into IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur, they need to clear JEE Advanced followed by AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test). NATA is the main BArch entrance exam. This national-level exam is conducted by the Council of Architecture for admission into various central, national and state-level architectural colleges across India.
B Arch Eligibility Criteria
Students must fulfil the following requirements in order to get eligible for the B Arch course:
- Students must have completed their 12th PCM with at least a 50% aggregate
- There is a 5% relaxation for the reserved category
- Students must have completed a Class 10 three-year diploma program in any field from a recognized university/board/institution.
- Cleared NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) with 80% marks conducted by the Council of Architecture(CoA)
