Campus Life:

Despite of the hectic schedule the college provides various opportunities for relaxation and refreshment. The college organises a college week. Each day of the week has a theme. Various competitions are arranged for the students. Apart from the college week various other activities and programmes are also arranged. The college provides opportunities to the students to participate in inter college competitions. Sports day is also arranged by college. The college participated in inter college sports competition. The college has a cultural and sports department that looks after the particular events. These departments are handled by student representative and teachers. Every year elections are held for selection of the student representatives. This enhaces sense of responsibility, team work, leadership qualities among the students.

Faculty:

The teaching faculty here is very good. Almost all of the teacher's have completed their masters, many are or have persuade PhD. The faculty to student ratio depends on the strength of class, but usually not more than 20 student are handled by the teacher. Time to time counseling is done by the teachers. Students progress is recorded in their cumulative. The faculty is available for the students. The faculty encourages students to take part in various activities inside and outside of the college. Teachers are always available at the clinical area for guidance. Its easy to approach the teacher regarding any doubts and other problems. The teachers uses disciplinary actions when required. The teachers uses adequate teaching materials to make learning effective.

I'm student of first year GNM from batch of 2023-24 I have been here for more than 10 months in 10 months I got to know more about our college everyday We have total 6 teachers in our academic year of 2023-24 from them one teacher has PhD and one has done msc other have done bsc in nursing they all teach us with lots of effort I personally think so I'm lucky to got addmission here. Whenever I have some queries or and any questions my teacher explained me so properly also they explain or clear our doubt even after college hours are over Teacher here are so good they teach us not only theory but also did practical demonstration so that we can get easily understand Also library mam helps us to find books or tell us about more and more books so that our academic years runs smoothly Other non teaching faculty is also good they also help in many ways like whenever we want some bonafides they helps us to get it smoothly without any hesitation or extra efforts rules are followed so strictly.

This college is said to be no 1 college in Pune firstly I saw it online I saw the fees of courses it showed that this college is no 1 but when I actually came here on first day onward I got to know more about this college when this college was established the first course thought here was GNM I personally take this course for reason which was I had gone to my relatives home there I saw 1 nurse who had done gnm she was with nanny 24×7 I asked her out of curiosity why is she doing this job without any hesitation and she replied that first when I came in this field I don't like the profession but as I learnt this and start the clinic posting I got to know value of life and that's when I started to like this profession there are so many courses but then from that I choose this course as this is related to Medica field.

Our GNM course fee is 80000 per year . And hostel fees are 74670 rs per year. There are many scholarships are provided to students like khusboo scholarships, UWA scholarships,manik chand dhariwal, dipgruh scholarships, for other cast students have scholarships. This scholarships are given according to their own interview and condition of family. Job opportunities are huge . Deenanath mangeshkar hospital is attached to college after education complete we apply for job in hospital.

Campus Life:

I live in this campus 4 years. My overall experience is good about this campus n college. College week is there, ganpati festival, diwali, lamp lighting is there. Our students are play on national , international level games like kabadi kho kho , running,etc. There is very huge library in college . There are around 40-50 teachers in our faculty and every class have 60 students there are many batches in my college like gnm-1 2 3 year bsc nursing - 1 2 3 year and BPT BRT and post bsc and many other every class have around 60 students. Faculty is very food if you don't understand the topic they will teach you 100 times till you can't understand. I easily interact with faculty because they always ready to help for students.

In the month of October held in apollo college of nursing. Above 1thousand of book and journal are available. Extracurriculum and many facilities technological are provided within the classroom. Badminton and corumboard are the activity offered on the campus.

Placement Experience:

They celebrate nurses day on nurse day on every 12 May and they do a farewell for students after completing the course. The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library depend on demand but they kept all type of book related to course. Facilities is normal.

The fee structure for the course comes for 1,50,000 which is a bit high compared to other colleges. For a year the college charges this amount, while other colleges only charge 3 lakhs for the whole course. Compared to the infrastrucutre and facilities provided the course is a little costly.

The college provides good internship oppurtunities for students. The students can gain the experience from the college hospital itself. So the students does not need to go other hospitals or areas for internship. Also the curriculum includes all programmes of nursing care.
