Assam GNM Nursing Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria laid down by the admission authorities to seek admission to the GNM Nursing course in Assam. The detailed eligibility criteria are as follows: 

• Candidates who have passed Class 12 from a recognized board/examination board in any stream- Science, Commerce, and Arts with an aggregate of 45% marks in Higher Secondary Examination are eligible for the course.
• The age of the candidates must be between 17-35 years. There is no age bar for ANM/LHS. 
• Students should be medically fit.
• Only unmarried female candidates belonging to the Tea Tribes Community can appear for admission into the course.

Assam GNM Nursing Admission 2025: Application Process

The selection is done based on the merit list prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination followed by an interview by the screening committee.

• Step 1: Visit the official website of SSUHS.
• Step 2: Under the notification section, download the Application form.
• Step 3: Fill up the application form carefully.
• Step 4: Submit the application form before the last date for the admission process.
• Step 5: Candidates need to submit the duly issued Caste certificate certifying that they belong to the Tea Tribe Community along with other important documents certifying eligibility criteria must be submitted along with the application form.

How to Download GNM Nursing 2025 Assam Admit Card?

To download the admit card, students can adhere to the following steps – 

Step 1: Visit the official website ssuhs.in

Step 2: Log in to the portal using the application number and password.

Step 3: Navigate to the download admit card section, and down it for the exam.

Here it is important to note that without the application number, students will not be able to download the admit card. Hence, they must note the application number carefully. 

Assam GNM Nursing Admission 2025: Results

On completion of the GNM application process, a district-wise merit list will be prepared by the statutory body based on marks secured in the Class 12 examination and will be released further as a merit list mentioning the names of selected candidates along with the further procedures required. The number of seats available for GNM Admission is 250.

Assam GNM Nursing Admission 2025: Counselling

After the declaration of the merit list, the schedule for admission and document verification will be issued by the respective board. Students need to submit the qualifying examination mark sheet, caste certificate, and other requisite certificates mentioned in the application form. The self-attested scanned copy of documents needs to be submitted for the verification process at the official email ID. Failure to submit the application form along with the certificates will lead to the cancellation of the candidature.

Assam GNM Nursing Admission 2025: Reservation Policy 

The applications are opened only to the candidates belonging to the Tea-Tribe community of the Assam state. Along with it, 60% of the total seats are reserved for the candidates who have passed Class 12 in the Science stream from the HSSLC Board and 40% for candidates of Commerce and Arts.
