Maharashtra GNM Admission 2025: Eligibility
The candidate willing to take admission to GNM course must fulfill the following eligibility criteria-
- The candidate must have completed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) from the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination from the science stream from any institution in Maharashtra and must have secured a minimum of 40% aggregate marks.
- The candidate should be a resident of Maharashtra.
- The candidate must be at least 17 to 35 years old while applying for Maharashtra GNM Admission 2025.
- Candidates must have successfully completed the ANM course.

After the submission of the application form, wait for the merit list to be announced on the official website.
The selection is done on the basis of merit marks obtained in 10+2. Once the merit list is declared the counselling procedure begins after which the academic session begins.
Maharashtra GNM Admission 2025: Counselling
- The candidates who are selected for the counselling procedure will be notified through a merit list which will be uploaded to the official website.
- The selected candidates have to appear with the required documents, the online application form, and the payment receipt for the counselling.
- The selected candidates have to appear at the respective institution for the counselling round which is followed by a medical check-up of the candidate.
Maharashtra GNM Admission 2025: Reservation
- There are approximately 350 seats for Maharashtra GNM Admission 2025.
- 5% of the total seats are reserved for the students who have completed the ANM course.
- 5% of the seats are also reserved for handicapped students.
Note: If candidates of a particular category are not available then the seats will be available on merit to other reserved candidates.

The application process for GNM admission is now primarily conducted online. However, you must check the application mode accepted by the institution you have chosen. If the institute you have chosen accepts only online applications, you have to submit your application online.
No, it is not possible for a student to enroll himself or herself for GNM program in two different institutes. You are allowed to pursue the program at only one institute.
GNM admission application form can be submitted online or offline. You can get the application form from the official website of the institute you are applying for or from the office of the institute you are applying for admission.
The admission timing, eligibility and selection process differ from one Nursing college to another. In order to apply for admission, you must check the admission notifications of the college you are interested to get admission.
To apply for admission in GNM course, you must have passed Class XII examination from a recognized board with PCB subjects. The minimum mark requirement and admission selection criteria differ from one college to another.
Any student, male or female, who have passed Class XII examination from a recognized board in Science stream with Biology as compulsory subject are eligible to pursue GNM courses.
