Telangana GNM Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria depend on the institution and course level. However, the general eligibility criteria for Telangana GNM admission 2025 is mentioned below.

Students must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in 12th with English as a compulsory subject.
Students should be medically fit.
The minimum age to apply is 16 and the maximum age is 35. Candidates belonging to the reservation category will get a relaxation of 3 years.

Ans. Yes, a certain number of seats are reserved. 15% of the seats are reserved for SCs and 6% for the ST class.

Ans. The maximum duration is 6 years. A candidate can take any number of attempts; however, all the papers must be cleared before appearing in the final year.

Ques. What are the minimum marks required for the student to pass the General Nursing and Midwifery course?

Ans. The student is required to attain a minimum of 50% in theory and practical separately to pass the course.

Ques. Can students with an art background enroll in the General Nursing and Midwifery course?

Ans. Yes, students with an aggregate of 40% marks with any of the electives such as History, Geography, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy are eligible to apply. English has to be a core subject.

Ans. Yes, a minimum of 75% attendance is required to be eligible to take the exam. The student should also have completed a minimum of 11 months of the course to be eligible to take the exam.
