What's New in IPGMER?

- IPGMER has released the regulations for admission to Pharm. D. and M. Pharm. courses for the academic year 2024. The last date to apply is November 11, 2024. The admit card will be released on November 16, 2024, and the entrance exam will be held on November 19, 2024. The tentative date for the declaration of results is November 25, 2024, and the counselling will be held on November 28, 2024.
- The online registration portal for B.Sc Nursing Admission is open from Oct 1, 2024 till Oct 30, 2024. Those who are unable to complete the online registration during the above-mentioned time, the same portal will be available for them till Jan 31, 2025 with an Applicable late fee. 20 Sep, 2024 NEET SS 2024 Exam will be conducted on March 29 and March 30, 2025 for admission to DM/ M.Ch/ DNB Courses at Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education And Research - [IPGMER]. Candidates can check more updates @ natboard.edu.in.

- Large patient in flow resulting in great exposure helping in gaining personal experience.
- IPGME&R is one of the best medical colleges in West Bengal as well as in India. Gopd infrastructure amd facilities

- You need to do duty in this course and sometimes duty schedule may become hectic and stressful.
- Lack of holidays which is common in medical fields.
Fees and Financial Aid:
This is a 4 years course.Total annual fees is ?450 only. So total fees for the whole course is ?1800 only. You can get a scholarship of ?60k per year through SVMCM if you fulfill its criteria. So it is a very affordable course for students. And IPGME&R offers the lowest fees for B.sc. Perfusion technology course, other govt. colleges gives a fee structure that is higher than this.

- There is literally no ragging . All seniors are very friendly.
- We have many fest throughout the year like Academic fest , Cultural fests , Teachers day celebration , Foundation Day , All pujas are also celebrated

Admission fee + Caution money = 2000/- Semester Fee ( twice a year ) = 4500 Total 4.5 yr (9 semester ) So total fee = 2000 + 9*4500= 42.5k Hostel fee is 12/- per month therefore 144/- per annum . Bond money for entire MBBS course is 1 Lakh

- The working environment is good and lot of opportunities to learn new things

- Long time duties for students on daily basis
- Schedule is not very flexible for self study

Year wise fee is 20000. There is no category division of fee . Fee amount is same for every student. Name of scholarship - Swami Vivekanand Merit Cum Means Amount of scholarship -18000 Complete fee for course is 40000. It is not increasing.

- It is the number 1 government college for MBBS in West Bengal. The Infrastructure and quality of education are worthy of its reputation.
- As a medico ,you must have a good relation with college campus as we spend maximum time in hospital campus learning new things

- The use of projector instead of digital boards

- The environment of the college is very good .Good infrastructure,better seniors, helpful student section and all.
- This campus holds the most beautiful location of any other medical colleges of west bengal.the transport are very easy and a lot of place to travel .
Dislikes
- The ground for the play is quite small.It will be great if there was a bigger ground for playin.
- Hostel rooms are allotted to two students per room .The room is not that big ,not that small either.If there was a bigge room for students,it would have been better

Hello, myself Md Aminuddin,a second year MBBS student of IPGMER & SSKMH.I have came from a very rural family and had completed my studies from government schools.My father is a farmer and my my mother is a housewife.Our semester fees is 4500 rupees per semester and mess fees are around 5000 every month. Other than this i have to buy books,lab coats, stethoscope and various other things.My family isn't capable enough to support my studies.Please consider giving me the financial help.It would highly helpful for me. Thank you

The fees is very nominal in regards to the course and the facilities we are provided. The opportunities given in various aspects of everything is just wonderful, and nothing less than something less than private facilities.

- The college campus is cleaned regularly and is all clean and beautiful

The course fees is very very basic and everyone can afford it. The private college are so expensive that a common man can't even think of it, but IPGME&R provides the best key solution to all such problems. College also accepts various scholarship programs of the government and helps the students in every possible way.

In the college, we have to given only 450 rupees for our admission.Besides admission fooding, lodging charge is bear by us. The name of the scholarship is Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship and college will not provide us stipend.

Our fees is extremely minimum, only Rs.450 for the Entire Course Duration so there isn't any case of Fees Hike in our case. Yes we can avail Scholarship like Swami Vivekananda Scholarship and we also get Stipend in 5th Year of our Course
