In every state, 85% of seats are reserved under State Quota candidates and NEET 2023 reservation criteria for them are decided by the concerned state authorities. NEET is the single undergraduate national-level medical entrance examination. Out of the total seats in all government MBBS/BDS colleges, 15% will be reserved for All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The seats under the 15% AIQ scheme will be allotted through NEET-UG reservation criteria. According to me, the admission process is very satisfactory.
Initially, I got admitted into Bankura Sammilani Medical College based on the WB NEET UG counselling results. But in the second round, I got the chance to upgrade BMC which is closer to my home and so I chose it. It is one of the older colleges in WB, established in the year 1969 and has one of the largest campuses in the state. My admission was done in the first week of September 2017. As I had already got admitted to BSMC earlier, I just had to transfer the documents and the overall admission process was smooth and not very time consuming. It is MCI recognized and a renowned college in our state. The college is overall good and has provided good memories of the time I have been here. However few improvements are still possible. Infrastructure can be improved a whole lot. Beautification of our college has been going on for some time and it has already been improved from what it was when I got admitted here 4 years back.
My course is going quite well, teachers are really experienced. Also books are indian books, we have all the facilities as well like a biochemistry, physiology lab, anatomy dept, canteen, library and ac classrooms.
Management is not that good in my first two years but as the new Principal came to our college it's improve a lot. She is very helpful in the students' point of view. She also care about the college its decoration and cleanliness. Cultural program these days are better than previous time.
Our college in my view that college in my life. College given an amazing platform in my life that settle in big platform.
There is no negative remark about my college. I fell in love with my college since I came to take admission in it. From educational view or cultural or social view, my college is best. Our loving batchmates, seniors, professors, juniors are them who added extra charm to my college life.
College is really good and hope it'll be a great source of nostalgia for more or less all of us in our batch its been thru a lot of things and a lot on the process
All are good.but they become more better if the instrument are replaced by new
Not at all. It's quite fine. As it's a public area I want to say about hospital. More advanced instruments required. For Diploma students hostel needed. All the technician staff and professors teach us very carefully
Everything things is positive it feels like second home. Environment are very good in nature. Nearby city are very good. From burdwan railway station to college is very less distance. Twenty four hour facility transport available.
