The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has confirmed that the NEET UG 2025 Round 2 counselling results remain valid and unchanged, clearing confusion caused by an earlier notice.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), has issued a clarification regarding the NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2025. According to the official notification released, there is no change in NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Seat Allotment result released on September 18 at 11:40 AM.
Candidates are instructed to download their allotment letters and continue with the reporting process as per the original schedule. The physical reporting at the allotted Medical/ Dental colleges must be completed between September 18 to September 25.

MCC had published a notification on September 18 (4:30 PM) stating the revision of NEET 2025 Round 2 Seat Allotment result for admission to 15% AIQ seats. This revision was being made due to incorrect seat data submitted by one of the participating government medical college. However, on the same day late evening, another notice was published clarifying that the NEET UG Round 2 Seat Allotment result, published at 11:40 AM on the same day, remains unchanged and no revision will be made.
MCC’s Latest Clarification on NEET UG Round 2 Counselling
Today, a notice had raised concerns about the accuracy of the Round 2 results after errors were reported by a government medical college regarding seat data. As shown in the picture below, MCC had mentioned the withdrawal of the seat allotment and reporting had been put on hold until further notice.

This temporary confusion led to uncertainty among candidates awaiting final confirmation of their allotted colleges. However, MCC has now officially clarified that the previously declared Round 2 results stand final, and no changes have been made to the MCC seat allotments.
Candidates who secured seats under the NEET UG admission 2025 AIQ for MBBS and BDS admissions are required to report to their allotted institutes with the necessary documents.
The reporting process will continue as per the dates mentioned in the counselling schedule, without any further delay.
Students must carry the following documents while reporting to their allotted colleges:
- Allotment Letter
- NEET UG 2025 Admit Card
- NEET UG 2025 Rank Letter/Scorecard
- Class 10 & 12 Certificates and Marksheets
- Government ID Proof
- Category/PwD/Domicile Certificates (if applicable)
- Passport-size Photographs
- Proof of Fee Payment
- Migration/Transfer/Provisional Certificate
Candidates are strongly advised to keep both original and photocopies of the documents ready to avoid last-minute issues during MCC verification in NEET UG admissions 2025.
