After completing the final year of MBBS we will engage in internships and stipend of internship in our college is about 30000 and we are now in 1st year of MBBS and don't get any experience about the internship

- Large patient in flow resulting in great exposure helping in gaining personal experience.
- IPGME&R is one of the best medical colleges in West Bengal as well as in India. Gopd infrastructure amd facilities
- Good boys to girls ratio. In my batch there is 10 students 5 of them are girls and 5 are boys.
Dislikes
- You need to do duty in this course and sometimes duty schedule may become hectic and stressful.
- Lack of holidays which is common in medical fields.
Internships Opportunities:
We get to do a one year internship in our own college with a stipend of approx ?10k.
And during the course period sometimes you'll get to prepare presentations and you'll present it in the seminar room.

- There is literally no ragging . All seniors are very friendly.
- We have many fest throughout the year like Academic fest , Cultural fests , Teachers day celebration , Foundation Day , All pujas are also celebrated
- All the teachers are also good and very friendly
Internships Opportunities:
We have a 12 month internship compulsory for the Undergraduates to get the degree .
We have to bear with long hours in the wards and clinics during internship . Here in IPGMER we get to see a variety of patients and get to learn about the clinical cases that we also read in books often . We have brilliant and top ranking PGTs and their guidance plays a major role . Patient load is high .

- The working environment is good and lot of opportunities to learn new things

- Schedule is not very flexible for self study

Our college provides internship programme for all students who completed two years of their course .
Duration for internship 6 months
Interns are paid monthly 2000 rupees.
Internship is mandatory to get your degree .

- It is the number 1 government college for MBBS in West Bengal. The Infrastructure and quality of education are worthy of its reputation.
- As a medico ,you must have a good relation with college campus as we spend maximum time in hospital campus learning new things
- The college itself provides internship and housestaffship .
Dislikes
- The use of projector instead of digital boards

MBBS course has internship of 12 months .
This is compulsory to get degree . Interns are paid monthly with around 32 thousand rupees stipend. Internship is rotatory in nature that is departments assigned to interns are changed after a specific time .

- The environment of the college is very good .Good infrastructure,better seniors, helpful student section and all.
- This campus holds the most beautiful location of any other medical colleges of west bengal.the transport are very easy and a lot of place to travel .
- This college is very good both in academics & culturals .A lot of cultural events and academic fest happens here every year
Dislikes
- The ground for the play is quite small.It will be great if there was a bigger ground for playin.
- Hostel rooms are allotted to two students per room .The room is not that big ,not that small either.If there was a bigge room for students,it would have been better

There is one year compulsory internship in MBBS.The stipend ranges differently in states .In West Bengal,the stipend is around 30000.Every student have to do internship.Mainly medicine and surgery are important subject.

There is one year of mandatory internship in all the departments of the hospital including the community medicine department, ortho, surgery, medicine, gyne, dermatology, etc. The training is quite hard, and it's just because to strengthen the base.

- College building structure is very well furnished
- As our campus is very big so faculties are huge available for us
Dislikes
- In this college, always people is gathering
- Our course is not well eminent so faculties are sometimes not concentrate about us.
- As there is no placement so we are very depressed
Internships Opportunities:
As our course is not eminent so there is no placement. Many nursing home sometime interested about us. Even till now there is no government recruitment.so we have not any stipend.
There is no any project and outcomes regarding our course.

- Patients who came to treatment cover every area..
- We haven't any emty places for study and eating.

Basically it's a government college so 2000 per stipend are given from smfwb board to every intership student who completed the course. The licence value is much mor expansive than any other colleges.

Many hospitals get calls from our college students when their intership is complete and they give a good salary tarpor government required ment, if they leave they don't join the govt. It's too soon in our college
