- NIHS has released the regulations for admission to Pharm. D. and M. Pharm. courses for the academic year 2024. The last date to apply is November 11, 2024. The admit card will be released on November 16, 2024, and the entrance exam will be held on November 19, 2024. The tentative date for the declaration of results is November 25, 2024, and the counselling will be held on November 28, 2024.
About NIHS
Nopany Institute of Healthcare Studies is a Kolkata-based leading private institution that was founded in 2004. The college is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, and recognized by the Health and Family Welfare Department - Government of West Bengal. Nopany Institute of Healthcare Studies Courses
The NIHS Kolkata offers a full-time and 4-year duration Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the UG level and a 2-year duration Master of Physiotherapy at the PG level. Under the BPT course, students are taught in small groups, such as practical workshops and tutorial activities. Apart from this, extensive practical training is organized in the institution's clinic, hospital, OPD, and IPD in a variety of settings. Individuals also undergo a 6-month mandatory internship wherein they get to explore clinical branches related to Physiotherapy including Orthopaedics, Cardiopulmonary, Neurology including ICU, Leprosy, Paediatrics, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Intensive and Critical Care, Sports, etc.
While in the MPT program, subjects like Biomechanic & Pathomechanics, P.T Education practice & Education Technology, Advanced Physiotherapy in Orthopaedics, Geriatric Rehabilitation, PT in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Advanced Physiotherapy in Neurology and Cardio-respiratory are taught by faculty.

Apart from assisting the daily influx of patients, it is used by students to assist the trained therapists for their practical training purposes.
Computer Center: A well-developed, and cutting-edge Computer Lab has been established in the college to improve the IT skills of students, and help them become digitally proficient. The latest computer systems with the required configurations and software are installed here. Systems are interconnected through a high-speed LAN network. It is used by teachers and students for assignments, projects, making PPTs, and performing curriculum-related tasks.

The NIHS provides complete support and assistance to students to avail following scholarships.
Swami Vivekananda Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to those students who are permanent residents of West Bengal. In addition, they must have been:
- Studying in a Government-West Bengal Board of Council.
- 60% marks in the last qualifying examination.
- The annual family income of the applicant should not be more than INR 2.5 lakhs.
- Renewal happens depending on the academic performance of individuals.
Minority Scholarship (Aikyashree): This scholarship is also granted to students (Muslim, Sikh, Jain, Christians, Buddhists, etc.) who are Domiciles of West Bengal. In addition, they must have secured at least 50% marks in the last exam.
Nabanna Scholarship: Like other scholarships, students who wish to avail of the NS must be native residents of West Bengal. Other requirements are:
- Students must have passed the last examination with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized Board.
- The annual family income of an applicant should not be more than INR 1,20,000.
- Candidates must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarships.
HDFC Bank ECSS Scholarship:
To avail of this scholarship, an applicant must have passed the last qualifying examination with a minimum of 55% marks. Annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh
NSDL Shiksha Sahayog Scholarship Scheme:
For getting this scholarship, an individual score of 10+2 should be at least 60%. The annual income of the family should not be greater than INR 300000.

Pass the 10+2 exam under The West bangle board of higher secondary education. Then sit the entrance exam: jenpus ug . Then sit on counselling. I got a sit in the company Institute of health care studies. now I study this.

Physics, chemistry & biology is compulsory in HS, and Higher secondary exam must pass with minimum 50%marks.Then Jenpauh exam will be given. Being passed the exam, the counselling process will be coming. seat allotment letter can be found

For admission 10+2 with Science is required, Jenpas UG Entrance exam The students are eligible for this exam with Science stream. The first form fills up Jenpas UG then the exam will be held. After that students choose this college in the Counselling round and admission to this college.

The admission process at NIHS is very smooth. Students need to clear the JenPas exam to taking admitted to NIHS college. The administration department of NIHS IS VERY supportive they help each and every student in admission.

I entered iñ NIHS through jenpas( UG) with 50% in the science group. find the application form from Google. form fees 500 rupees. During admission time some improvement is applied. No reservation benefits are granted to me.
