About KPCMC&H
KPC Medical College and Hospital is the first State of the Art private medical college in the state of West Bengal. It was established in 2006. KPC Medical College and Hospital was the first private-public-partnership model (PPP) medical hospital in West Bengal. It was established by Dr. Kali Pradip Chaudhuri on the premises of Dr. K. S. Roy TB Hospital, which was also started by Dr. K. P. Chaudhuri. to be eligible for admission you need to appear for an qualify NEET-UG exam admission happens via west bengal neet counselling there is reservation (50 out of 150 seats) for State Quota students meaning those with domicile of West Bengal. within these 50 seats there is also quota for general, obc, ST, SC and PWD the rest are management quota and nri quota students for which there is no reservation

We had to clear NEET to get admission. There are 3 types of seat - state quota -50 seats and reservation applicable (total fees around 13 lacs and cut off almost same as govt colleges), management quota -77 seats (total fees 54 lacs and cut off around 20-30 marks lesser than required for govt colleges) and NRI quota-23 (fees around 1.5 Crores)

- The teaching faculty is well stacked with a teacher for every 10 students ( mentor programme ). Most of the staffs are doctors themselves.
- The fest is really impressive and flawlessly conducted by the association. Various fun events and frequent Bollywood guests artists add to its grandeur.
Dislikes
- The fee structure is quite high and increasing each year. Even though it's lower than many other private colleges, but it's rapidly increasing with every year which makes it affordable to very selected group of society.
- The frequency of exams is rather too high for it's own bad. We often don't get enough time to prepare and it somewhat hinders the classes, as it takes place in class hours.
Admission:
I have NEET and qualified it. I was alloted this college on merit/rank basis. I'm in unreserved category and yes there are benefits of reservations availed in this process. NTA is the conducting body for this entrance examination and the details thereby adhere to their guidelines. NMC is the body responsible for the admissions and allotment thereon.

- Biochemistry department is probably the most caring of all. They live for the students. Excellent teachers with treat students like students.
- You can make it a second home only if you have enough perseverance.
Dislikes
- Some of the faculty members with their archaic idea of book definition.
- The student cell makes life miserable, that takes no responsibility of informing the students regarding anything.
Admission:
You have to appear for NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) and have decent marks to take admission in any government college. The cut-off varies year to year but 570 is generally regarded as a very good score. You can find the application from the NEET website itself, and apply from there to appear for the exam. There are reservations and people holding SC/ST and OBC caste certificates can benefit from lower cut-off marks and lower admission or session fees. The process is pretty straightforward and I don't feel any necessary improvement is needed to the admission process.

The eligibility of the course is 12 passes with science steam the biology subject is a must. I found the application form on the online website and I applied. The application fees are around 1000rs. I didn't know the reservation benefits. No improvement I don't want to see in the admission process.
