This is the best medical college in west bengal and oldest college in Asia. Everybody has a dream to pursue his studies in this college. Medical leads every college in every aspects. I cleared one of toughest exam ,Neet ug in india with a good rank which was enough to get best state top medical college. I was selected for my college because my rank fulfilled the required criteria. I didn't apply for any other colleges.

Eligibility is 12th Pass with PCB/PCMB stream and >60% in Boards and NEET Qualified. Application starts after allotment through NEET counselling. No application fees and application dates starts after allotment through NEET. Frequency of exams: every 2-3 months and part completion tests after every chapters. Difficulty of college exams: standard level is maintained matching with the pattern of University exams conducted by WBUHS. Admission process is very simple and easy admission process.

Entrance is through NEET exam. General cut off 650 OBC cutoff 640 . Sc cutoff 580. Application is online. You have to fill form after 12th passing. You must have more than 50 percentage in every science subhects.

Admission process was smooth enough. I appeared for NEET UG 2020 and get seat in Medical College Kolkata in my counselling, Cutoff for this college is about 660 for general. After allotment I collected the application form in online, from my college site, and filled it and went to student section of my college i.e Medical College Kolkata. Admission date was 10th November, 2020. Admission fee was 6520 Rs. As I said earlier, admission process was very much smoother, So for me that was enough good.

Admission was through NEET UG exam. NEET exam is conducted every year in the may of month. 12th pass candidate can apply for it by going through NTA.GOV website. Application fees for unreserved catagory is ?1500. Reservation benefits are there. In my opinion the examination should be conducted atleast twice in a year, like many other entrance exams.

Eligibility criteria for MBBS: For MBBS admission, candidates must pass the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET). It is the only entrance exam required by many medical institutes in India for MBBS admission. Candidates must have completed at least Class 12 with the essential disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for MBBS admission. The National Testing Agency will release the NEET UG application form 2024 any day soon at neet.nta.nic.in. The expected date for the NEET application form 2024 is in the fourth week of January. NEET is entrance exam. General cut off was near 640. SC cutoff near 570. OBC cutoff - 620. Online counseling through Wbmcc. Admission process is right . Application form is not necessary as it's government college & admission is through online counseling.
