Life at a Jamia Hamdard University as a DGNM student.

Individuals often choose this course because of its availability, faster enter into the workforce with a shorter duration. The curriculum which I performed during my college life are really helpful for me, as the healthcare sector is experiencing constant growth, leading to high demand for educated nurses whether they have diploma in it but experience and focus is must. Thsi course provides comprehensive and practical training tailored for general nursing and midwifery, with extensive clinical exposure to develop essential patient care skills. The frequency and timings is all depend on the exam type according to every student the exam timing is always less than we want.

The students become eligible for campus placements from there 7 to 8 semester. Jamia hamdard collaborate with lot of hospitals for placement like Safdarjung, lok nayak hospital and much more, the highest package for any course is 25 to 30 lakh per annum which is literally a good but it depends on one's profile and experience.

The year-wise fees for my course (DGNM) is around 1.25 lakh, although they show 65,000 in their prospectus but after getting admission they add charges like dress, transport in case of internship which start in 2 or 3rd year they charge it's fees from first year and the course, library, campus, security charges.. these all charges together make 1at year fee around 1.25 lakh. Tution fee is 65000 Admission fee is 1500 (one time) There are some scholarships as well which you will get in 2nd year based on your performance attendance etc but it will just cost around 10k to 15k only. The campus is safe, has a friendly atmosphere, and provides essential facilities, including medical care from the university's own hospital, though some aspects like Wi-Fi may require improvement. Its campus overall is huge with beautiful view.

I applied in jamia millia islamia and jamia hamdard University both are good in terms of infrastructure. Mt first priority was always jmi but due to strict paper pattern which they conduct for their almost all courses, I didn't get selected for their course, but then I got admission in jamia hamdard University because the process of entering this college is literally easy and simple as compared to others because they do not take any exams for any of their course which is good for almost every student. You just have to apply online through their admission portal then their selection list comes. And there is some surity that you will get admission till last round.

The faculty of jamia hamdard University is ok-ok. Some are very good and some are just disgusting.. In my case faculty-student relationship was good.. because my course faculty was very helpful and supportive. Whenever I got some queries they always help in a good manner. The most favourite faculty for me was my anatomy teacher, she was not just my teacher she was also the incharge of my admission. As we know we get some problems during admission process and at that time we just a good faculty to make us understand and she was the one who literally help me out with these problems. Like other colleges the exam pattern and timings is same but as we know there are some regular tests which happend every other day or sometimes daily in case of examination.

Jamia Hamdard has a Gym, a large and well-stocked Library (the Hakim Mohammed Said Central Library), and several ** cafeterias** (including the Coffee House), all located on its campus. The university also offers various public areas such as a Hamdard Convention Centre, playgrounds, a Scholars' House, and a medical center, contributing to the overall campus environment. Reports indicate the university has at least three canteens to serve students and faculty. Library The Jamia Hamdard Library system comprises the Central Library, named after Hakim Mohammed Said, and six faculty libraries. The library is well-equipped, with a large collection of books and journals, including oriental collections in Urdu, Arabic, and Persian, and provides online catalog access.
