Honest review

I have always wanted to be a part of medical and hospitality and this course was my way to reach my goal. Practical duties and posting in different hospitals helped me see different cases and gave me a lot of confidence. During duties proper guidance and more involvement of the clinical instructor will be helpful for the students to learn better.

Internship is provided at the Apollo Hospital Guwahati during our final year, and campus placement is provided after the final year exams. During the internship students are assigned in different Wards and posting is done in the basis of morning and night duty.

For Campus placement students become eligible during the 3rd year of their course. Apollo hospitals came for the interview and more than 15 students were offered for placement. My plan is to get a work experience and go for further studies or to work abroad.

Yearly fee - 1st year 1,41,000/- 2nd year- 1,39,000 3rd year- 1,39,000 Scholarship- Umbrella scheme for Arunachal Pradesh students was - 50,000 per year There was no other categories in our batch, our fees were equal.

In the month of February college festival is organised along with foundation day and Maa Saraswati pooja. In march Holi is celebrated in the college, during bihu in april we get a week holiday, on august 15th Independence Day is celebrated, on the 5th of September teachers day is celebrated, 2nd October Gandhi Jayanti day we do a social work. In December during Christmas we get a 3days off . Sports events are held eg.- Cricket, Badminton etc....

Washroom is attached to the room, fan's are available, study table, bed and storage is provide. Meals are good and is balanced, good quality ingredients are given. For hostel registration we need to do it during our college admission and mess fee is to be paid every month.

I did not apply for any other college and this was my first preference. No Admission process was quite easy, I contacted the college for enquiry and they gave me the proper information about the admission process which made it very easy for me, i was given a date and told to bring my original documents, and a prospectus was provided to me .

The faculty is always there for the students and helps students in any need. All the faculties were good in there on way, always there for the students but i would like to give a special thanks to Maam Premo Devi vice principal of Apollo school of Nursing without her help it would have not been easy for us and all the students of our batch is really grateful and thankful to her. Thanks to her we were able to pass with no back paper... There is no particular faculty that I don't like. Everyone was really helpful and loving.. There is a total of 3 exams(1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year) and its different for every student as far how they study and how they appear in the exam. Failing in exam depends upon the students but in our batch the record is really less, plus we get a chance to appear for supplemental exam.

Library works best for the students during their leisure time to study and complete their works. Every month we get a 2 Sundays to go out and the timing is from-11 am to 4 pm, Night out is not allowed but if its an emergency then we are permitted to go out. City centre and some other parks are there for roaming and hangout. No it is not safe to roam around At night
