Course Curriculum Overview

My aspects towards the college curriculum is very interesting and I am influenced with architecture so I choose this Everything is very good in the architecture course Teaching methods and teachers are very experienced and knowledged.

Faculty

Faculties are user friendly to us and always will be there for anytime whenever we needed.There is an having semester eaxm pattern and total 10 Theory exams are there in five years of Architecture Course.

Night Life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.

As my institute comes under DTE section(Private institute but under Government section), (1) tuition fees were less as compared to the private institutes where tuition fees were above 1lacs. (2) Institute has an excellent campus provided with a great infrastructure. (3) Hostel facilities( For girls and boys) included Mess too and is located in the same campus.
