Remarks

College is an institution for learning and yes it does pretty well in those terms. Faculties can get a little edgey if you are not on their good books. Submissions are expected on time irrespective if there is quality work or not.you get marked pretty well if you stay interactive and regular to college. You can manage to get around 60% marks by just attanding lectures and trying to get the submission on time. If you put your self in the submission getting an 80% wont be difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is a professional course. Take it only if you are serious about it since 5 years is. Long time and people tend to lose focus. Best is if you are interested in making some difference with your designs. You must go for it.

Internships Opportunities

No. Internships are not provided by any architectural college for that matter. But they help you out with choosing what firm you can go with on. Personal level. Sometimes the profesors who have their oen firm hire you for your excellence.

Placement Experience

2

Placement for architecture is a new thing. They are still striving for it. If you go and ask personally for any contacts they help you but not many fruitful results are expected out of that as of now. It may be better as years pass by. But placement is always a question for architectural colleges on. Broader spectrum. Everywhere.

College Events

3.5

Campus fest. Architectural workshops and seminars. Students from all years celebrate and participate together to compete. Iner college activities. Design competitions are also held at regular basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. You are allowed to loan it out. because you are expected to pay the fee of the entire year together. If you have financial problems you can pay semster wise but needs to be acknowldged by the principal in a written letter

Fees and Financial Aid

Reserved category students are availed with scholarships. Also students with no KTs. With a percentage of 85% and above are given scholarships from the college.they provide you with the form in around the winter time and the scholarship is applied for the same year.

Campus Life

4.5

Extra curricular activities like sports, music and dance is hrld at inter college level. Students are encouraged to participate on their own. It is on your on your cost of attendence. No gurantee if you would be considered.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel isnt so good since it is placed on the interiors. Basic facilities standards are low. People prefer staying in PG for that matter since transportation is a problem and is very viable. Food is fine but i would overall rate it a 2.5/5

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. Alumini has a group that conatntly keeps in touch and have developed a mini placrment cell where new job opportunities are posted and new things we get to know about. There a total of 5 batches that has cleared till now.I would rate it a 3.5/5

Exam Structure

There are two semester per year. On the 8th semester yoh have an internship that can be done any time for about two to four months depend on your personal inyerest. But thr mandatory time is 120 working days.

Admission

After the 12th results are out. ( Science stream req. For Architecture) and after you appear for NATA and CET. you upload your marks in the dte website and the admission process starts. Dates are given as per the merit list and then you are been called for admission.

Faculty

4

Faculties are well trained and very knowledgeable. Everyone here are aither Masters in their field of interest or hold a PhD degree. 5 years + experienced professors come to teach the students. The more the years mature, the more proffesionallysound and experienced teachers you get for one to one interaction too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation. There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the architectural course because I love designing buildings. The teachers were good, and there weren't too many students in each class. They knew a lot about architecture and taught us in different ways, like drawing and going to see real buildings. The exams were fair and not too hard, but you had to study. Overall, I liked the course and learned a lot about architecture.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
