Remarks

I had applied for different colleges including PHCET. The admission process is not that complicated. Cap round admission is advisable. The college has a good infrastructure. The college has its own counseling centers and they are good. The overall college experience is very nice.

Course Curriculum Overview

Choosing Engineering in Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology has many positive reasons. One of the reason is college is accredited with an A grade by NAAC in the first cycle. College Faculty, Staff members all are very supportive. Also college provide placement for the students.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 106541 per year

Placement Experience

College provides placement for every final year students. Provided that student must be elligible for placement as per their criteria given. Company package is average but for freshers its vise. But companies make bond of 1 to 2 years before getting place.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are a little high as everyone cant efford and depending on the services college should not charge this much fees. In addition they charge Extra BUS fees which should be minimize. Scholarship are available but they have their own criteria.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is so amazing. With academics, you will get a chance to explore yourself for other opportunities. College arrange different functions like college fest (EUFORIA), celebrates different festivals with so much excitement and students participation. Spots day is also arranged for those who are excellent in the sports activity.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

The Overall experience of an average student

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Campus placement has good rate. Most of the students passing out get in-campus placements and some of them go abroad for higher education. The average package here is around 700000 to 800000. Very much reliable in placement perspective.

My dream college COEP

Placement Experience:

The placements offered by COEP are simply great. The percentage of placements in overall department is from 72 to 100% . The student are eligible as they get in 2nd year . The companies that visited are wipro , infosys, mircosoft and core companies like tata motors, mahindra, Bajaj auto , emerson, asian paint , bosch. Bajaj even has there school of automobile openned in COEP. Highest package is 87 LPAand the average package is 12 LPA. You only need skills to crack the interview percentage does matter in some height the minimum percentage required is 65-70 . As COEP offers best placements I planned on getting campus placement as well

Exams are held in a proper manner time to time they have insem and endsem patterns First the insem exam takes place which is of 30 marks and then the endsem which is of 70 marks. The courses give us extension coding knowledge and experience along with the real world application in the project that we do. The explained theory is adequate for every aspect. A good college

College is an institution for learning and yes it does pretty well in those terms. Faculties can get a little edgey if you are not on their good books. Submissions are expected on time irrespective if there is quality work or not.you get marked pretty well if you stay interactive and regular to college. You can manage to get around 60% marks by just attanding lectures and trying to get the submission on time. If you put your self in the submission getting an 80% wont be difficult....Read More
