Remarks

The admissions to this college are based on the entrance exams conducted at the national level. NATA and JEE are the two entrance exams that interested students can take for admission into sbpcoad with a qualifying mark.

Course Curriculum Overview

Architecture is a field that gives opportunities to students interested in building and landscape designing. The teachers at sbpcoad are well educated and the interactions are friendly creative a positive environment.

Internships Opportunities

Companies that offer internships to the students at sbpcoad include PDA (Prashant Deshmukh Associates) which has also conducted several seminars for students previously. Several other big firms and offices provide internships to students at sbpcoad.

Placement Experience

Skill development is one of the topmost priorities of sbpcoad. Thus it provides software programs and conducts seminars and webinars, enhancing the knowledge of students which will help in future on-site problem-solving.

Placement Experience:

In VESCOA placement cell, its nice experience. There are lots of placement available last year. Students getting 100% of placement in college campus. My plan after getting the degree to exploring new building and visiting places.

Perfect infrastructure but more experience faculty needed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.

The campus of the college is good. It has a separate building allotted to architecture, having all amenities. The faculty is also supporting the Admission process is pretty similar to other colleges and it becomes easy with the help of staff.
