- Extra curricular activities are widely available. There are many club activities.
- Barch is pretty good. The work is not too hectic as of now. But there is work

- There are less cleaning staffs so the classrooms become messy
Course Curriculum Overview
It would be nice if there's less work. The first semester is pretty hectic and jammed up. The semester is only three months . That is half of a normal semester. Theory of structures is the hardest subject.(For me).
Internships Opportunities
For my course the internship is during the 4th sem. Our curriculum requires this and it lasts for 6 months. Students can apply to the firm of their choice and do their internship their if they get admitted.
Placement Experience
As I'm a first year student I don't know much about placements but I think it starts by 8th sem for b arch students. Placements for barch are low compare to btech. But as this is a prestigious institution the best firms come here and there is a unit called CGPU for helping students regarding placements here.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly tuition fee is 8 650 for batch. At the time of admission I paid like 15 to 20 k.(I'm not sure of the exact amt). If you are sc or st category this fees will be refunded. For OBC and ews students there are scholarships so basically the tuition fee will be refunded. E grants is the major scholarship that students apply for. But as a batch student expense is high. But some materials are provided from the department store
Campus Life
The technical fest is disha and drishti. There are other department fests that take place here. The infrastructure is really good with library and physical education department and other facilities. There are various clubs and sports activities are really active. Everyone is welcome for such activities.
Admission
CET is known as the best college in Kerala so my first option was always this one. I did write jee arch. Though I qualified my percentile was not that great to get into IIT s or nit s. The admission process was that we have to upload our nata and plus two marks to the keam portal and then the rank list was published . I got into this college in the third allotment in LA category. Then we just have to bring the necessary documents and pay the fees and that's it
Faculty
The faculty is more than enough. Most of the faculty are not that approachable. There are two internal exams and one university exam.Tge curriculum has a mix of both theory and practicals so it's just right
Interview Experience
The entrance exam for b arch in our college is NATA. The score along with our plus two percentage is added and uploaded in the KEAM website. The ranks our published and if you are general category a rank below 40 is ideal to get accepted here.
Night Life
The college is open only till 9 30. The students can do their activities till this time. Students play sports till 9 p.m. when events come there are programs till 9 p.m. After this no one can stay in the campus.
