Marian Engineering College Placements 2023

The college has a highly qualified and certified team of placement specialists who are proactively associated with job market analysis. It has so many tie-ups with managing corporate businesses across the country.

The Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU) functioning in the College takes care of the On-Campus placement activities. CGPU prefers students and the Industrial community together with an effort to build an Industry-Institution Interaction.
The Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU) arranges on-campus and off-campus recruitments and preplacement training programs in the Aptitude test, Group Discussions, Interviews, and presentation skills in collaboration with the Dept. of Humanities and core departments.

- KEAM 2020 Rank 4001 - 15000, the scholarship amount will be Rs.37500
- KEAM 2020 Rank 15001 - 20000, the scholarship amount will be Rs.25000
- KEAM 2020 Rank 20001 - 30000, the scholarship amount will be Rs.10000

Merit Cum Means Scholarship:

The scholarship is granted by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India.
The criteria for eligibility are above 50% marks in 10+2. Qualified applicants are Christians and Muslim students.
The financial eligibility - Family income should be below Rs.250000 and the amount of scholarship given will be Rs.30000 for Hostellers and Rs.25000 for day scholars.

Central Scheme Scholarship:

This scholarship is granted by the Department of Higher Education, Government of India
The criteria for eligibility are above 80% marks in 10+2. The eligible candidates are Christians, Hindus, and Muslim students.
The Financial Eligibility - Family income should be below Rs.600000 (Non-Creamy Layer) and amount of scholarship given will be Rs.20000

If the applicant scored 100% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in HSE (State Syllabus), the scholarship amount given will be Rs.40000.

I applied to many other collages but due to keam rank i only got here for manangment seat. If I had a good rank maybe I won't be in this collage.... The exam for entering was Kerala entrance examination and i got a rank of 40100. I choosed computer engineering for other collages that's why I was not able to get the admission

Likes

The infrastructure and surrounding of the campus is really awesome. The faculties are really helpful for guiding us. All the wanted equipments are available and are maintained really well. Ambience is really good and the neat and tidy classrooms.

Dislikes

The students are not allowed to eat their food the class rooms. There are separate rooms for girls and boys. It will avoid making a good bond within the students.
At the first year the first year students are not allowed to go out of the first year block and should not mingle with seniors.
There are only very less truly 1or2 cultural or entertainment programs are done in the college. As it is relevant that for students with a lot to study some entertainment and programs will make them more creative and responsible.

Also the infrastructure structure of the college is very good it will gain the attention of anyone. As searching on Google I could find more about athe college and staffs.

I did apply to amal jyothi collage but that collage was far away from me and travelling would be much harder for me. I did get rejectiok from rajagiri engineering collage. As i lacked the mark for the course that i applied there. The exams accepted for the course im doing would be keam and the cutoff mark is around 35,000-40,000. Admission experience was a hastle. Just like all other collages.

There are a total of 60 seats available in which for both government as well as NRI quota. Application is available in marian.ac.in site. The semester exam is for 3 hrs and the difficulty occurrence can't be said.

Admission:

I don't remember being any cutoff for admission process but you have to secure a seat before being the seats filled out. The admission process where kind of simple not really hectic you just have to fill the form, meet the principal etc. for being eligible to apply to college you need to attend kerala entrance exam (KEAM) amd need to pass the exam which kind of simple.

Campus is so beautiful and enjoyable. Clean and safe.
Most of the students in my class were studious. That made me to focus more on my studies

Dislikes

There was a huge discrimination between the students who got good scores and low scores
Management was too strict didn't gave any freedom for students.

Admission:

Well to be eligible for this course you got to have atleast 70% mark in 12th and you also have to pass the neet entrance exam. The application process was easy. Everything can be done online. Application form is also available in the site. I had to go to college one just for a signature if that can be done online it would be a great help
