Work Experience
Anwesha Banerjee is a microbiologist and content creator with a strong background in education, research, and scientific outreach. Her background encompasses type 2 diabetes, sarcopenia, metabolic syndrome, oxidative stress, and microRNA expression.
Before her research endeavors, she had worked as a Senior Subject Matter Expert and Medical Content Writer. She was involved in creating educational blogs and science content related to the newest discoveries and inventions. She also worked as a freelance writer for biotech, health, and management topics, using SEO and content management techniques to attract diverse audiences.
Anwesha co-authored many scientific papers, worked on projects regarding phosphate-solubilising bacteria as biofertilizers, hydrocarbon-degrading bacteria, and trained at reputable institutions like ICAR-CIFE and NOVA IVI Fertility.
Outside of academics, Anwesha has attended many conferences, workshops in molecular biology, aquaculture, embryology, and DNA sequencing. She's also had industry exposure, which included internships at Mother Dairy and Cipla. She has a belief system that knowledge shared is just as valuable as knowledge obtained, which is motivating her to actively engage in educational writing as well as contribute to research.

Anwesha has a BSc in Biotechnology (Hons.) from West Bengal University of Technology and an MSc in Microbiology from Techno India University, where she graduated with first-class distinction and received a Gold Medal for securing the highest marks among all MSc students.
