KEC Coimbatore Application Process 2025

The process of applying for admission at KEC Coimbatore is-

Every year, the college releases a notification for admission to its UG, PG, and research courses.
The candidates will need to apply online for the various courses.
If the candidate is interested in the UG course, then they will register for TNEA, which is conducted every year. Shortlisted candidates will be notified through a call or email.
For PG courses, the candidates need to appear for the TANCET exam. After the exam, the student will get shortlisted according to their ranks.
After the confirmation from the college, the students will go through counseling.
In the counseling process, interested students will fill their seats and go through document verification
After document verification, the college will finally allot the seat to the student.
Candidates successfully crossing every step will pay the fees and start their semester year at KCE.

Ques. What is the application procedure for B.Tech at KCE Coimbatore?

Ans. Candidates willing to take admission to B.Tech courses have to apply for TNEA. The TNEA application form can be filled out online and offline through the official website.

Ques. What is the fee structure for courses at KCE Coimbatore?

Ans. Karpagam College of Engineering (KCE) Coimbatore's tuition fees for BE/BTech programs range from INR 1.8 Lakh to INR 2.2 Lakh per year. The MBA/PGDM programs cost INR 35,000 per year, while ME/MTech programs are around INR 50,000 per year.

Ques. How do I get admission to Karpagam College of Engineering?

Ans. For UG courses, you will need to apply through the TNEA for admission at KCE Coimbatore. The TNEA is a counseling system that takes into account your 12th marks and gives a rank accordingly. You can use the rank to get admission, otherwise, there are management Quota seats also. For PG courses, you will need to sit for a competitive exam, TANCET. The ranks obtained in the exam will get you admission to the KCE.

Ques. What is the application fee to apply to KCE Coimbatore?

Ans. The KCE Coimbatore application fee for B.Tech courses is INR 500 for general candidates and INR 250 for reserved candidates when applying online. For offline applications, the fee is INR 700 for general and INR 450 for reserved categories.

Ques. Does KCE Coimbatore accept admissions through management quota?

Ans. Around 65% to 80% of the seats are filled by the Government through Single Window Counseling. The remaining 20% to 35% of the seats are filled by the Management. Selection of students for the 20% to 35% management quota is based on Higher Secondary (+2) marks only. There is no Entrance exam as per the policy of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

I got selected in sastra, it was a super better college than the karpagam but I got selected for mechatronics course as I didn't like the course and need to choose the ai I choosed karpagam even 8 tried ai in sastra but they were no possible option so i choosed the karpagam college of engineering.

Admission:

I apply PSG and Sri Krishna college and also sona colleges in Coimbatore. I make these college list are in my government koota. So i prefer the course cyber security and i get this college from tnea government seat. This college have min 75 percent above for government seat. Cutoffs are 170 above is must for joining for this college.
