Good atmosphere with good faculty with great knowledge

Dislikes

Extra curricular programs are low compared to other collages

Placement Experience:

The placement will be available from 6th semester onwards. Companies in techno park are mostly coming for placement in our collage. The average lpa is 2 and highest is like 10. Around 60% are getting placed. My plans is that for the time being if I get a placement i will for it and study extra with that job

Insight of Marian Engineering College

Likes

The infrastructure and surrounding of the campus is really awesome. The faculties are really helpful for guiding us. All the wanted equipments are available and are maintained really well. Ambience is really good and the neat and tidy classrooms.
The teaching skill of every faculty is really good. Everything is vastly and clearly taught. Assignment test are also conducted in a really good schedule. For students whow are feeling difficult the faculties will be noticing it and take actions
The college and the faculties will give the students all the necessary details of the skills which are to be practised for the industry. They also provide us many opportunities for developing the skills required.d

Dislikes

There are only very less truly 1or2 cultural or entertainment programs are done in the college. As it is relevant that for students with a lot to study some entertainment and programs will make them more creative and responsible.
At the first year the first year students are not allowed to go out of the first year block and should not mingle with seniors.
The students are not allowed to eat their food the class rooms. There are separate rooms for girls and boys. It will avoid making a good bond within the students.

The history of placement record is really great in this college. Half of the students or more are getting placed in every year. Campus placements are also done. The faculties will also help us to attend the placement. College will give us maximum support and opportunities.

Love that teachers are good at what they teach and they do care for each student
They teach us based on the exam point and make us score good marks
They even conduct seperate classes for skill development

Dislikes

There are very less cultural activities and sports is there only in 1st sem
You will have to stay in the administrative block itself for 1 st year
You are not allowed to go to canteen or store during 1st year

Placement Experience:

From 4th year ppl become eligible for internships there are many companies coming for clg placement . There are many car automotive companies, software companies about 50% are getting placed in our college my plan is to pursue mtech after btech

its a peaceful campus with little to no sound from the outside city.
its a huge campus. With wide variety of scenaries etc
The teachers and staff members r rly friendly with a gen z mindset

Dislikes

The lack of programs. And cultural programs
Feels like ur in a confined space at times
Not alot of exposure with seniors or super seniors

Some of the companies being infosys, IBM, TATA, Mahindra, Wipro etc. the percentage of students getting placements are low as they dont require the enough marks to be eligible for a placeme

Campus placements occur in S7 ie, 7 th semester. Mainly visited companies are UST, TATA, and Infosys. The UST has friendship with Marian College as led many to be placed. As of the year 2024 more than 200 students are placed by various companies as Marian placement occurs more.

If you’re determined to study, this is your place
Good opportunity for many workshops,internships&placement
Nice campus With lot og trees and grounds and great infrastructure

Dislikes

No free time always need to study and no pleasure time
You should always score mark in exams pr things will get personal in pta meeting
Not enough fun activities like festival celebrations and concerts

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for Campus placement after semester 5. There are several IT companies whom which the college have tie ups with like Infosys, UST global etc. According to my knowledge you can be eligible for placement if you have less then 2 backpapers and in my knowledge if you're eligible you're most likely to get a campus placement.

college canteen provides quality food in affordable price

Dislikes

during first year all the teachers and staffs very very strict

students are allowed to attend campus placement S7 onwared but the training to make them success in one will start from S1 onwared like aptitiude training language training various companies like ust global tata lxi have visited our college the highest package of 12L/annnum 70%of the students get placed while others move to higher education my plan is to get placed and work after education

My life in Marian

Likes

Most of the students in my class were studious. That made me to focus more on my studies
Campus is so beautiful and enjoyable. Clean and safe.
Good faculties. All are well educated and qualified

Dislikes

Management was too strict didn't gave any freedom for students.
Faculties were not supportive for other activities rather than studies
There was a huge discrimination between the students who got good scores and low scores

Placement Experience:

Good placement options for Computer science students. Many companies came to recruit. But for other departments only limited students can participate. Only 1 company came for civil and only the top students could participate in it. After getting a degree you can always choose to work somewhere else. I found a construction company to work. There are both high package and low package placements. Percentage of students getting placed would be less than 50%

The this which is the stand out is the environment provided in the college.
The labs and the classroom are well equipped.
The faculty available in the college is well experienced.

Dislikes

The does not provide much co-curricular activity.
Sports related activities are conducted once a year

The course depends on the subject. Computer science is the simplest course,so many people opt this as their main subject. Other courses are not that complicated,but personally computer science is simple when compared to other courses .
