SCTCE Admissions 2025
SCTCE enrolls candidates based on their National/State Level Entrance scores. Eligible candidates, if interested, can follow the steps given below to apply to SCTCE.
- Candidates seeking admission should fill an online application through the official CEE Kerala website.
- An application fee of INR 800 (General candidates), INR 400 (SC candidates), No fee (ST candidates) should be submitted while registration through the available payment modes.
- Candidates can submit the application fee through either of the two following methods:
Online Payment: The fee may be paid by credit card/debit card/Internet Banking.
E-Challan: In case of payment through e-Challan, the payment should be made in the selected branches of State Bank of Travancore (SBT) in India or all Head /Sub Post Offices in Kerala, in cash. The printout of the online submitted Application can be taken only after successful payment of Application Fee.
- Duly filled-in applications along with the other relevant documents must be enclosed and sent in an A4 sized envelope through Hand Delivery/Registered Post/Speed Post to the following address:

SCTCE Placements 2025
SCTCE Placement Report 2025 has not been released yet. However, the institute recorded a placement percentage of 35%. Out of 505 registered students, 176 were placed. As per SCTCE NIRF Report 2025, SCTCE median package for BTech was INR 5.2 LPA. For MTech, the median salary stood at INR 5.1 Lakhs.
R Deepak Nair, a BTech CSE student at SCTCE states that students start receiving placement opportunities from 7th semester. The average placements, especially for computer and electronic departments are very good. Placements for all different companies for mechanical and biotechnology departments are satisfactory. The highest usual package is around 10 LPA. Around 80% students on average receive offer letters.
SCTCE Scholarships 2025

- Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme: In each programme, an additional 10% of students are allotted from the KEAM rank list by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Govt. of Kerala, under the Tuition Fee Waiver scheme for women/ economically backward/ physically handicapped meritorious student.
- Dr Ruchi Sharma Endowment Scholarship: This scholarship was instituted in fond memory of Dr. Ruchi Sharma, student of Mechanical Production Engineering branch during the academic year 1999-2003. In order to enlighten her memory forever in the eld of education, the parents along with her Mechanical Production 1999 -2003 batch class mates, started a scholarship in the name of Dr. Ruchi Sharma. This scholarship is meant for those students who emerged as the topper in the university exam in the first and second semester exam.
SCTCE Campus & Facilities
SCTCE is spread over a 12.5 acre, lush-green campus. The SCTCE campus is home to some of the best facilities, providing the students with a home-like ambience, away from home.
- Central Computing Facility: The Central Computing Facility (CCF) acts as the nodal centre for all networking related issues of the college. A fibre optic network connects the various departments with the CCF. It is an approved facilitation centre by Govt. of Kerala for providing online registration facilities for candidates in the CEE. The college computing facilities are also used for the conduct of various online tests by external agencies like RRB, VSSC, Postal Department etc.
- Central Library: The Central library has more than 32,000 books and 66 national and international journals/magazines. Apart from the Conventional Library, there exists a Digital library which contains sufficient digital documents such as E-books, E-journals, Technical Reports, and Project Reports etc.
- Transportation: The institution operates one College bus and is managed by a committee. Buses follow the same routes in the morning and evening.
- Sports Facilities: The institute has a Basketball court, Badminton court, Volley ball court, Nets for practicing cricket and a practice facility for Handball.There is a Physical Education Officer appointed in the college on contract basis from PTA to overlook sports activities.
