Campus Life

Campus Life is pretty smooth if you can handle the academics part. There are two major fests in year. The Social/Cultural fest is called 'Spring fest' which includes performances from various artists and other student groups. 'Kshitij' is the largest technofest in the entire country. It takes place a week before the spring fest and a lot of competitions take place during this period. The infrastructure is pretty great amongst older IITs with wifi access around the campus, several auditoriums, food courts, swimming pool and tennis courts, several sports complexes, a central library (with wide range and accessibility of books and journals), and the B.C Roy hospital which provides free medical facilities for students. There are several clubs and societies based round either social/cultural stuff or tech/consulting endeavours.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is extremely relevant when it comes to making the students industry ready. My decision to choose this course was more influence dby the rank range I fell into during counselling. The exams are not very difficult as I mentioned in the previous segment. It could improve as much as the courses in other top colleges (basically, an overall improvement in the system that ensures the enrollment of students in courses, where the majority is actually interested in exploring the course subjects in detail, rather than opting for it just to get through college and get hired or involved in something completely unrelated to the degree)

Faculty

The faculty of this college is very intelligent and they treat all the students equally. Mr Sudharshan sahu is our best faculty,he teaches english and because of his experience of so many years,he teaches very well and with fun. Everyone is afraid of Mrs nilima mam not because she is very strict but she teaches us engineering mechanics, which can be said to be a tough subject. There are 2 semisters in a year and there are 4 internals in each semister.the exam is not difficult but it will definitely seem difficult to those who do not study anything.

Campus Life

There is a fresher's party for new arrivals, branch wise party and farewell party too. There is a facility of chairs and tables for sitting in the class, along with white boards there is also a digital board, proper lighting and air conditioner. There are 2 grounds for sports, many sports are played like cricket, football, kabbadi, running, basketball, volleyball and many more. Faculty

The total number of student in first year who enters in 2025 are 360 . The number of total faculty in campus are 48. You can see that there is one faculty on seven to eight student which is a good ratio. The faculty such as Anil sir teaching us engineerig mechanics also the head of examination department, I like him much because his dedication to work, despite being involved in work he came our class and complete their syllabus timely. Another faculty like Dr Samir Hasan sir teaching us communicative english , Ram Singh Yadav sir teaching engineering mathmatics. I like them also . Some faculty who not complete their syllabus timely and not came to their class according to routine. I not want to take their name hear but I not like them really. We know that B.tech is four year program which include eight end semester examination which conducted by the Bihar Engineering University and eight mid semester examination held before the every end semester examination conducted by college . The end semester examination ( consist of 70 marks paper ) is comparatively harder then mid semester examination ( consist of 20 marks paper ) The end semester examination centre outside the campus means in other college . 70 + 20 = 90 ( 90 marks you obtain through written examination ). The rest 10 marks you obtain through attendense and submiting practical copies .

Campus Life

1.) The annual sports programe conducted by the college and DSTTE ( Department of Science Technology and Technical Education ) are Umang and Prakram in which different games are held, student get participated and won prize. The book are of different types and written by different authors . Roughly 100 student sitting capacity is available in central library at MCE Motihari . 3.) The classroom is of different size for different branch. All the classroom has Digital Board and White Board both . The all classrooms has podium by which student get easy contact with faculty and board . 4.) The main program conducted by college for sports is Umang and Prakram . You can join yo Pahal program coducted by the government through all college in which engineering student provide education to children near the college area. 5.) Ques. Should I choose NSIT CSE or IIT Delhi Civil?

● Top Answer By Shrija on 09 Jul 24

Ans. I am a Civil Engineering student at IIT Delhi.  Even though CoE/ CSE/ IT are much more sought after by students in the present times, I would choose Civil at IIT Delhi over CoE at NSUT.  Here are the reasons for the same: The faculty at IIT Delhi is much more experienced and learned than that at NSUT. IIT Delhi was established in 1961, while NSUT in 1983. Because of this, IIT Delhi has a stronger alumni network. IIT Delhi is a globally recognized brand, while NSUT is usually only known to students of North India. The “IIT” brand is immensely helpful when applying to foreign universities for higher studies.  Although civil freshers are rarely in demand, a civil engineer with enough work experience, the right set of skills, and great project accomplishments is paid a high salary. These are the 2023 placement figures for both these institutions: Particulars IIT DELHI  NSUT  Median CTC -   INR 17 LPA (B.Tech) Average CTC INR 17.60 LPA (Overall)   - % Batch placed 84.94% (Overall)   (Students Placed in B.Tech: 977) Top Recruiters   Google, Deloitte, BCG, HCL Technologies, Lenskart, Flipkart, etc.    (2024) Unfortunately, the branch-wise placement detail is not available for both these institutes.    However, based on the various reasons listed above, I would recommend you choose IIT Delhi Civil Engineering over NSUT CoE.Read more
