- The placement was too good. Almost eveyone got placed in the tech departments and with a good average package too.
- The campus life is mind blowing with a lot of activities and clubs in the campus itself.
Dislikes
- The boy to girl ratio is very poor. In my class there were 10 girls and 62 boys.
- The teachers are very old and they don't listen to children. Some teachers even suspend students and don't allow them to give examination if there attendance is lower than 75%

- College is very huge in land area so much to explore. The environment, seniors, professors everything single thing is amazing. Freedom for everything most of the sports are available and tournament serves as opportunities.
- The fests is a outstanding point when it comes to DTU.
Dislikes
- There is nothing such like that but traveling inside campus sometimes causes pain in knees. So there should be a mini rickshaw for students and no fare.
Fees and Financial Aid:
My tuition fee per year vary based on the year for 1 year it is 229000, for 2 year it is 234000,for 3year it is 246000,for 4year it is 276000,Total 9.85lakhs for complete 4year.You can get some scholarships like e-district gives based on categories of students.
Likes
- The college atmosphere. DTU is a place to be if you want to enjoy college life. The curriculum is pretty chill
- Alumni Network. DTU has a significant amount of alumni network since it's inception in the year 1941.
Dislikes
- Locality. DTU is situated in Rohini which is pretty much isolated from main Delhi.
- Mess facilities are not that good. The menu should be revised oftenly.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee for every year student is same with respect to the academic year. There are various scholarships available especially to low-income family students, OBC, SC, ST students and students from minority.

- University have 163acres. that's why campus is very big and have beautiful nature

- Campus is big there is no any free Cycles or rikshaw in our college

There are many scholarships in the college but these are only for poor students and there annual income is below 1 lakh. fees are very expensive. Many students apply for loans for the submission of fees. there is no issue with fees structure

- Campus size and location are something to like about
- Labs were quite equipped and trained professionals
Dislikes
- Exact location of the DTU is quite far with reckless connectivity with metro
Fees and Financial Aid:
Okay the annual fees was 75000 in the first year. Subsequently, it decreased to 68000 for next two years and in the final year, it was just 62000. However, post 2017, I have read that the fees have cross 1.5-2 lakh barrier which I believe is not jusitified. There was hostel fees of 25000 annually along with 3000 monthly mess bills. There were availability of student loans from SBI DCE branch, which was situated within the college. The process was very simlified. There were some scholarships as well. I did not opt to sit in any placements but it did provide excellent scholarships, especially for IT related branches. Within core, that it, civil and mechanical and electrical, it was better than expected.

- The clubs and societies are something i liked very much.
Dislikes
- The crowd, due to state quota many of the rowdy crowd also gets admission in college.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tution fees is around 6.5lakh for 4 years.in first year my fees was around 150k and now in second year it is 160k and so on. It will increase around 10k every year.There are scholarship available on the basis of various things like sports, financially etc. College provides placement and internships. Currently i have done any, but many of seniors have done internships.

- Obviously our college fest because we know DTU organises best fest in Delhi
- And, Campus as DTU is having campus around 263 acre
Dislikes
- They do not have swimming pool in their Campus

For BTech courses we have 1st yr fees of 2,19,000 and for every year it rises with 10,000rs like for 2nd year we have 2,29,000rs fees and so on this takes ahike of 10,000rs every year but from my opinion this is good because they provide things

- College life is something I enjoyed the most.
- Senior are very supportive and helpful towards us.
Dislikes
- There is no option for partial few payment.
- Hostel is not available for students who come even from 30 km away

During the past few years the fees of DTU has grown exponentially and it crossed the 200000 mark but to compensate various scholarships are provided by the college on regular basis like the MCM scholarship scheme.

- Good experience as college life is very good as campus provides every sports infra and all the societies have good funds to do all the activities
Dislikes
- some profeesors are rude they only deduct students marks on unknown basis they are just retarded

Fees structure is divided by year per year you have to pay the fees total estimate will be 14 lakh approx and they hike fees every year most likey but hike is small not that much big .there are lot of scholorships opportunites avaible for reservation students not for general student nothin for general student

DTU: 3 Answered Questions
Which is better, CSE at DTU or civil engineering at IIT Roorkee if my inclination is towards CSE?
If you are sure about your interest in CSE, DTU is the best option for you. However, if you are yet to identify your area of interest then go through the following parameters
- Placement: DTU has ties with huge CSE companies like Amazon, and Microsoft that offer excellent packages to the students even better than Civil at IIT Roorkee. I know many friends from NSITs and DTU that work in Microsoft today.
- Research: The CS department is undoubtedly better in terms of research work and opportunities than the Civil.
- IAS: For IAS, the most preferred branch is Civil. However, if you do for Roorkee, you will have limited options for coaching which can be easily sought at IIT Delhi
- MBA: Again, because of better coaching institutes, IIT Delhi is better to prepare for CAT.
Once you are sure of your inclination making a decision won’t seem so difficult!
Did I make a mistake in choosing civil engineering at DTU and leaving COE at Thapar University?
Choosing COE at Thapar University over DTU Civil Engineering isn’t a mistake. Compared to Civil, COE has more career opportunities. Thapar University is a reputed private university and offers good placement opportunities for COE. Around 90% of students get placed from the branch. According to the highlights of Thapar University placements 2022, the average CTC for COE is around INR 13 LPA.
Which is better, Civil Engineering at DTU or CSE at Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering under IPU?
If your interest lies in computer science or you are as ardent in getting it as most of the people around then choose CSE at Bharti Vidyapeeth under IPU.
On the other hand, if you are comfortable with a core branch-like civil engineering and at a college like DTU, then you should undoubtedly go with it.
