DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements for DTU were on the good side of the industry and as compared to other colleges. The probability of landing a job in DTU mid-lower branch were higher than IPU top branches. I did got oncampus placement in the end of 4th year. Percentage of Student getting placed was: 70-75% as per my year. Minimum package in my branch was around 6LPA and Max was around 25 LPA.

from 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements there are many compaies that visited our campus s.a google, microsoft, future first, mckinsey, bain and co, zs, policybazar highest package - 46lpa avg - 9lpa 45% students placed plans after degree will do a job for 6 months and then plan for masters

from the fifth semester students are eligible for placements and interships opportunities. around 300 -500 companes are come to campus for placemnts. approx 10-15 avg students get hired by one company.

College placements are quite good students can apply for on campus internship by 5th semester and company starts reaching out students from 7th semester providing full time opportunities with 6 Months internship too

The placement opportunity in my college are decent and students become eligible for placement from the final year. Many companies visit the campus for different roles. The average package offered is satisfactory for freshers . Around a good number of students get placed every year based on their skills and performance . The college also supports students with training and interview prepartion.

The newer curriculum is specialised for AI and ML, and other newer requirements. However the overall quality can be improved. Some subjects are redundant, however overall the college is moving ahead with the trends

Placement are good. Companies visited - Bain and co. , mckensey and co. , TATA, Airtel, Qaulcom, Samsung, microsoft, amazon, etc. Almost all tier one companies visited the campus. Overall 4.5/5 in governement engineering college for placments.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 6th semester onwards. The average package is around 20 LPA and the highest package is 85 LPA. The placements percentage for top branches is around 80% and many big companies like Amazon, Uber, Google, Microsoft, etc. offer placements. After my degree I plan on securing a placement on the tech field.

In terms of improvements, the curriculum could benefit from **more industry-oriented electives, practical assignments, updated lab work, and interactive teaching methods such as case studies or project-based learning**. The exam system typically includes **two major exams per semester — a mid-semester exam and an end-semester exam — along with internal assessments, quizzes, and assignments**. The exams are generally **moderate in difficulty**, and students who attend classes and prepare consistently are able to perform well, though the evaluation tends to focus more on conceptual understanding and written exams rather than purely practical skills.
