I joined DTU in 2020, the year of lockdown. That time the fees was 2.05 lakhs and by 2024 it became 2.29 lakhs. The fees was not hefty at all given the standard that DTU has. One of the best engineering college in entire Delhi after IIT Delhi.

the fee strucure for btech program for the acadmic year 2024to 2028 fee breakdown (per year): 1. tution fee: ay 2024-25:Rs 155000 ay 2025-26:Rs 163000 ay 2026-27:Rs 177000 ay 2027-28:Rs 192000 2. non goverment component: student walefare fee: increase from Rs 20000(2024-25) to Rs 27000(2027-28). facilities& servies charge: starts at Rs 36000and rise to Rs40000 economically weaker section fund :fixed at Rs 10000 per year. examination fee:increases from Rs 15000 toRs 17000. We have fees of 23600 in first year, 246700 in second year, 256000 in third year and 266000 in the last year. That's ends up about 10.5 lakhs rupeees roughly. The college also provides with the scholarship on the basis of your financial status.

Tuition fee - 147300 Student welfare fee - 20000 Facilities- 36000 Exam fee - 15000 Medical - 700 Ews fund - 10000 Fee for next year will be - 246700 Fee for year 2026-27 will be - 266700 DTU awards scholarships based on need as well as merit. Fee waiver is offered to students with good merit but lower income families.

Ups and lows

As it is my 1st year of btech in Delhi technological University it's total fees for 4 years in around 10 lakhs , Delhi I have paid around 2.41 lakhs (approx) with no fees conssesion till now I have applied for dtu fee conssesion scholarship but for some electricity bill it was not approved by officials now I'm waiting for NSP scholarship .

There is really great fees structure but every year according to your course your fees will increase like in first year I paid 2.19 lakhs in 2nd yr I paid 2.29 in 3rd yr I paid 2.36 now in 4th yr maybe I should pay 2.49 (maybe vary according to new scheme). 2. Our college provide scholarships depending on eligibility (100% to 25%). 3. There is no fees relaxation in categories but you can apply for scholarships. 4. Scholarships is based on financial aid.

The yearly academic fee is nearly 220000 and it increases by 15k per year from second year onwards. There are various scholarship opportunities provided by college and government. Like low income students are given discount in their academic fee. NSP and other scholarships too are to be mentioned.

The fees is quite high as for the first year it is 229000 and increases every year by 10000. There are scholarships and financial assistances as well but one needs to roam for quite a while in the academic section to fully understand the procedure.
