DTU: College life,fests,and more

The curriculum is according to NEP. The change in curriculum was brought in 2023. You are segregated into your respective branches from the day one of your admission and you follow the curriculum laid down by the university. The faculty members are very cool and wholly depends upon your behaviour. Some faculties are strict but that hardly affects your college life. The best thing about faculties is that the whole heartedly support the extra curricular activities and even encourage you to take part in activities.

Internship opportunities here at dtu are top notch. Companies from google to amazon visit campus every year to hire students for different roles. Stipends ranging from 50k to lakhs are generally provided to students. You get a no companies visiting campus every year.

The placements are awesome. The average package here is 16 Lpa the higest for 2023 stands at 82 lpa (domestic). The average cse package stands at 25 lpa while average package for mechanical and other core branches ranges from 9 to 14 lpa. The placements percentage stands at 85 percent in 2023 which is generally higher.

The yearly academic fee is nearly 220000 and it increases by 15k per year from second year onwards. There are various scholarship opportunities provided by college and government. Like low income students are given discount in their academic fee. NSP and other scholarships too are to be mentioned.

Campus life is amazing. From Engifest(one of the largest college fests in India) to invictus you get everything here. The college campus is huge you get everything that you dream and expect from college life during your jee prep.

Hostels are provided according to your year of study. Like for first years hostels like aryabhatta transit and type 2 are there and the rooms facilities and amenities are almost same in every hostel. You are provided with a bed an almirah chair and table in your room plus you have an attached washroom with your room. The hostel costs about 52k per year.

The eligibility criteria for admission to delhi technological University is JEE mains. You need a decent jee main rank if you are from outside delhi but if you are from within delhi you can expect admission even at higher ranks.
