Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course does seems irrevelent but somewhere shapes your basics aswell. Tho the revised curriculam is really thoughtful. The curriculam open many gates for further opportunities like higher studies aswell as jobs and internships. The core subject like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, and many more needs improvement in their teaching methods to make the subject more interesting and enjoyable.

Internships Opportunities

4

As a first year student i dont have much information about this but there are internship opportunities offered inside the campus aswell through clubs and other projects.Stipend can vary depending upon your skills, but non-paid interships can be done even inside the campus.

Placement Experience

3

Students start interships as early as the end of 1st year. and they become eligible for campus placement in the 4th year.there are more than 25 companies which visit the college and around 100 students get placed. Highest pakage last year went around 20LPA, and average was around 9LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees for 1st year is 140000. University charges per annum is 20000 Alumini Contibution(one time payment) is 2000. Examination fees per annum is 3000 Innovation and Incubation fees per annum is 500. Development and Infrastructural charges = 10000. Total fees for the 1st yes is 175500. This is same for all the categories. There are scholarships but i have no idea about them right now.

Campus Life

5

There is the annual cultural fest named Anugoonj held in February. Then there is annual sports meet held in october. All the books in the library as accessible and we can issue upto 5 books at a time. There are a lot of extracurricular activities offered in the campus and there are teachers and coaches for most like there are music teachers and sports coaches, and any student can learn from them without any extra charge.

Admission

I got in this college based on my JEE Rank. I also got accepted in DTU in Civil Branch but i chose this college because i prefered CSE branch. I could also get MAIT but this college has a bigger campus and almost same placement aspects as MAIT.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is a little low. But yeah the faculty is really approachable no matter who the proffesor is. There are some really good teachers who support talented students, but there are also soe teachers who put there ego on top. There used to be 2 examinations earlier, Minor 1 and EndSem exams but now there are 2 Minors and End sem exam, which makes it more scorable. the exams are not really tough but you need to be attentive in class. In a class of 60 students almost 10 students have a backlog in atleast 1 subject.

Night Life

5

Gyms are only for hostlers. cafeterias and library close around 5:30 but you can study till 7. The classes starts from 9am till 5:30pm and it can vary depending upon your schedule, there is a break of 30mins from 1 to 1:30pm. Cafeteria, Library and Nescafe are the famous hangout places inside the college. there is a mall nearby names Vegas mall, thats the go to place outside campus.

I choosed this course not on the basis of curriculum but on the basis of outcomes. Curriculum is old and not real world based, professors also have limited knowledge. Course Curriculum should be made more advanced and professors should be trained well.
